About Miznon:

Miznon is a growing global group of fast casual Mediterranean restaurants offering a new take on Israeli street food by the acclaimed Israeli Chef Eyal Shani. Chef Eyal Shani is considered to be one of the leading figures in the Israeli culinary scene, starring in the TV series Food for Thought and appearing on the panel of judges during the past six seasons of Israeli Master Chef.

The group operates 18 restaurants around the world, first opened in Tel Aviv 2011, subsequently expanding to Paris, Vienna, Melbourne, NYC, and now making its way into Singapore's lively culinary scene.

We are using fresh and seasonally inspired ingredients to create a new kind of Mediterranean street food. Our vision is to take the flavor of each city and translate it into pita. We’re looking for rock-stars Chefs to join our team for the long run ASAP, working in our open concept environment. While you must be comfortable working independently, you must also appreciate a strong team environment. We support a culture of promoting from within and growing a career within the group and are seeking the right candidate who also shares our values.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless operations of kitchen while meeting occupational safety and health,
• Ensure consistent food standards in a fast-paced, open concept environment,
• Dealing with suppliers and ensuring food cost targets are achieved,
• Faithfully and diligently perform required duties and reporting to the management on issues such as food cost and weekly reviews,
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation

Skills and Requirements:

• Energetic and fun team players who likes communicating with people in an open kitchen concept
• At least 2 years kitchen experience
• Must possess the relevant food hygiene certificates
• No foreign work pass quota
• Able to start work in short notice
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback
• Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere, which is crucial to the experience at Miznon

Details:

• 6 off days / month, alternating weeks of 1 day and 2 days off
• Operating hours: 11am – 11pm (9 hour shifts w/ 1 hour break)
• Location: Stanley Street, Singapore
• Salary Range: $ 2500-3500
