When applying for jobs, you have to send your CV or resume to the company you’re applying for. Many people think CV and resume are the same thing - it is actually not (don't worry even companies get confused about this). In short, a CV is more suitable for academic purposes while a resume is suitable for getting a specific job. The word CV comes from latin words, Curriculum Vitae, shorten as CV it means the course of your life. A CV has no limit length and CV contains all of your education, job experiences, publications, and certificates etc. In contrast, a resume should not be longer than 2 pages. It should contain all education and work experience which is relevant for the job you are applying for - not more than that.
