There are two different types of work ethic: one that focuses on the process which is to be a "grind" and put in as much work as possible and one that focuses on the outcome which is to find the "sweet spot".
Set out clear goals and make sure they align with your interests and values. Because by acknowledging your goals and interests you will work without pressure. It doesn’t feel like working when you like what you do.
If you want to be productive, you need to focus on what you're doing. Don’t try to multitask. Contrary to what many people believe, multitasking decreases productivity and changes the way your brain functions. You’ll lose your focus.
Learn how to manage your time wisely and take breaks when needed. Pushing so hard at work would cause burnout. Take your time to enjoy breaks and refresh your mind.

A strong work ethic can also come from being a good person who cares about other people's feelings. For example, when you are correcting someone else’s words, you should be kind, and don’t feel you’re superior.
