About the role


Reporting to the Regional Head of Marketing & Communications (M&C), you will lead the M&C team in Singapore to provide direction, guidance and strategic input to the marketing programme for Singapore and Indonesia. We’re looking for a ProjectWise Administrator for our Bentley ProjectWise estate with a focus on maintaining the ProjectWise estate, services and environments whilst supporting engineering projects and teams.


Working as part of our global technical software team, you will provide agile solutions combining processes, practices, and tools to deliver Bentley Cloud services and specifically ProjectWise solutions. This will involve working closely with project teams and business leaders to define requirements, design and implementing solutions that support project delivery, automating and streamlining our operations and processes.


The global technical software services (TSS) team designs, delivers, operates, and supports the advanced engineering software and platform used by Arup’s engineers to deliver world-class outcomes to our clients.


The role reports to the global head of technical software services, based in Brisbane.

Requirements and skills

· Significant professional experience with ArcGIS Enterprise


· Working knowledge in the application of BS1192, PAS1192 and the ISO19650 suite of standards is essential


· Maintain strategic relationships with clients, industry peer groups, partners and vendors

About the role

Cyber Security Analyst

We are looking for cyber security analysts for our growing global cyber security operations team, and have three vacancies, one each in Toronto, Melbourne and Singapore. You will help protect Arup’s digital infrastructure and data from cyber attack. You will monitor networks and systems, detect security threats ('events'), analyse and assess alarms, and report on threats, intrusion attempts and false alarms, either resolving them or escalating them, depending on the severity.

  • Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, identity and access management (IAM) systems, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance tools, and desktop security tools

About the role


The successful candidate will require skills ranging from, good communication, expert technical knowledge, administrative management, building external links locally, regionally and globally as well as good interpersonal interaction.


Some of the key responsibilities of the role will entail but are not limited to:


· Resolves complex Civil / Geotechnical / Planning co-ordination issues through CAD skills and liaison with internal parties


· Represents the A/E team in co-ordination workshops with external parties


· Responsible for production and quality of C&S / Planning Drawings or models


· Assist the engineers/planners to prepare documents/drawings for submission to all relevant Authority submissions


· Review the quality of the work being produced and upkeeping to the standard in accordance to the project or company requirements


· Drawing or model production co-ordination on projects


· Produce drawings or models as part of either an engineering team or a contractor’s design team


· Undertaking design development and/or calculations for the group across a diverse range of projects


· Checking quality of drawings and accuracy produced by others’ ensuring outputs meet the required standards


· Manage coordination of Structure services within other disciplines, including clash detection


· Contributing to the development of good practice within discipline through involvement with skills network


· Liaising with CAD Managers, relevant Skills Network and 3rd Parties (Clients, Consultants and Contractors)


· Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs


· Manage working on a range of projects ensuring deadlines are met.




About you


You must have a strong CAD/BIM technical background and a strong interest, desire or working knowledge of BIM processes and software. At least 5 years of relevant experience with Professional Qualification.


You should have:


· substantial knowledge and experience in Civil and Structural engineering. ability to undertake complex designs.


· substantial experience in the engineering consulting environment, including the ability to advise clients on cost-effective and sustainable solutions


Experience in managing key projects, including the management of multi-disciplinary project teams. Working knowledge of at least one main 3D BIM product including configuration, set-up and management. Strong knowledge of services coordination and clash detection.

We are looking for an Energy Consultant with experience in renewable energy to join our growing Energy Advisory team in Singapore, as we continue to strengthen across South East Asia.


About the role


Reporting to the regional leader, you will help to devise and execute low carbon and renewable energy advisory engagements as well as undertake feasibility studies and early stage design projects.


The scope of this role includes the following:



  • Undertake Technical Due Diligence in the wind (onshore/offshore) and solar sectors

  • Deliver technical M&A and pre-lend due diligence studies for financial investors and/or banks, providing clients with details of how technical risks can impact their projects

  • Undertake feasibility studies and early stage design roles for renewable energy

  • Execute consulting engagements, which include coordinating with cross-discipline teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients

  • Support senior team members to identify and pitch for projects across South East Asia

  • Build relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders

  • Take responsibility for effective project management during project delivery phases

  • Participate in knowledge sharing and supporting the development of other team members


About you


You will have a background in low carbon and or renewable energy technologies, including the following skills:



  • Relevant engineering/technical degree or equivalent and will preferably be developing a Professional qualification in a recognised institution in the field of engineering.

  • 3 - 5 years post-qualification experience in the development and execution of low carbon and renewable energy projects, with a strong technical background.

  • A solid track record of delivering technical M&A and pre-lend due diligence studies for financial investors and/or banks, and a robust understanding of how technical risks can impact the commercial drivers of a deal.

  • Experience of undertaking feasibilities for onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydro and/or geothermal projects as well as experience of working with clients and assisting business development.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in both technical and non technical environments.

  • As this role will be working with our offices in North and Southeast Asia, having language proficiency in any of the following languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese would be an advantage.

The Consulting Team is looking for a motivated graduate to be part of a growing energy team serving the Southeast Asian market. The team provide three primary types of work, focusing on a clean energy transition:


• Energy Masterplanning: we develop and optimize energy system solutions at early city, neighborhood and industrial masterplans, integrating energy demand, supply and storage.


• Energy System Design: we undertake feasibly, detailed design, construction and operational engineering design for clients building low carbon technologies, in particular solar, wind, geothermal and hydro.


• Energy Advisory: a variety of market research and technical due diligence for Mergers and Acquisitions




The Graduate will be fully integrated in the team of senior energy consultants, conducting challenging research and analysis, and participating in delivery of insights and recommendations to executive level decision makers.
