Assistant Engineer

$2500 to $3000 (Monthly)

Job Scope

  • Electronic knowledge and support component/systems.

  • Installation and assembly electrical parts and components.

  • Improving the mechanical.

  • Mechanical installation & replacement spare part for machine, trouble shoot & modification.

  • Perform troubleshooting, rectification of mechanical faults in assembly process and feedback issues to the relevant party.

  • Support assembly line to meet customer shipment.

  • Assign certain duties to the employee, explaining how those duties are to be done (i.e. what level of performance will meet the supervisor’s expectations) and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured.

  • Ensure that the employee is working under a current job description and in a classification appropriate to the duties.

  • Ensure compliance of operations with all relevant health & safety regulatory requirements, company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines, report to superior for any violation.

  • Updating and maintenance of work procedures

  • Assist in product changeover in heat staking, ultrasonic welding, Vibration welding and Control room Automation machines.

  • Report and assist Engineers in problem-solving and troubleshooting.

  • Manage Machine spare parts, component inventory, and liaise purchase when necessary.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma with Mechatronic or Mechanical with 3 years automation experience.

  • Able to speak and read English, Experience in Assembly line with highly discipline and demanding environment.

  • Basic skills on MS Excel, Word and Power point

  • Relevant experience in heat staking, ultrasonic welding or cleanroom automation machine operations will be an advantage.

  • Willing to work in clean room environment with shift system

Snr/ Process Engineer (Assembly)

$2500 to $4000 (Monthly)

(A) Primary Function

1. Responsible for all engineering related activities of the assembly line concerned

2. Support assembly process and layout for each product inclusive update oracle routing

3. Responsible for quality of products at all stages and drive production yield

4. Identify and initiate actions to prevent occurrence and recurrence of product, process, quality systems nonconformities

5. Work as a team with all departments to achieve mutual agreement on specification required by customers

6. Implement improvement plans to enhance efficiency of process, material and manpower.

7. Responsible for new RFQ enquiry and advise the management the feasibilities for mass production.

8. Responsible for resolving discrepancies and technical issues related to product with customers

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyze defect reported in-house and customer with quality, tooling and production.

2. Attend to all daily quality and process related issues.

3. Prepare and execute process validation protocols (MVP/IOPQ) and reports for new and existing product, process and equipment with tooling and quality personnel for all customers

4. Participate in the Continuous Process Improvement programme to improve productivity, reduce scrap.

5. Perform internal quality system audit.

6. Train and assess production staff on processes as well as WI as and when required.

7. Attend routine production and quality meetings

8. Execute engineering change notice from customer/ in house and update ERP system promptly

9. Compliance to all regulatory and in house system requirements especially for medical and automotive customers

10. Prepare instructions/procedures for the assembly processes, ECN/ECR/Deviation are drafted & executed

11. Problem solving techniques - must able to hands on

12. To ensure all equipments on the mechanical assembly lines are in good functioning state

13. Equipment selection / reliable fixture designs for new projects and improvements and assist in other projects assign by the superior.

(C) Qualifications / Requirements

1. Degree/Diploma in Engineering-related discipline, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics etc.

2. At least 3 years related experience/knowledge in assembly line, preferably in medical and automotive industries

3. Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP and IOPQ

4. Possess strong leadership, positive attitude, analytical and good interpersonal skills

5. Results-oriented, meticulous and a self-motivated team player

Technician, Production

$1200 to $1500 (Monthly)

(A) Primary Function

1) Set up and troubleshoot molds and processes. Carry out routine mold maintenance during run.

2) Ensure molding process setting is according to the Molding Data Sheet and set cycle time.

3) To ensure all areas abide to the safety regulation, any concern on violation that may lead to safety issue has to be reported to his superior for action.

4) Support production to meet customer demands

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

1) To ensure quality parts are produced and meeting optimum output quantity.

2) Assist the production supervisor to control scrap and manage material usage according to plan.

3) To ensure all GMP S.O.P are religiously followed in all areas.

4) Assist production supervisor to identify and initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product, process and quality system non-conformances.

5) Ensure corrective/improvement actions are implemented by subordinates timely.

6) To ensure good communication and information is passed down during handover of shift.

7) To prepare and ensure material/component parts available on time in order to minimize set-up time.

8) Recommend quality improvement measures to immediate superior.

9) Senior Technician to stand in during the absence of supervisor and provide guidance to technician and assistant technician

(C) Qualifications / Requirements

1) NTC-2 with one year of molding and tooling experience or Minimum secondary school education with 3 years molding/tooling experience.

2) Able to speak and read English. Experience in plastic molding in highly disciplined and demanding environment.
