Operations Executive, Metal

THE ROLE



  • Plan, allocate and execute cargo operations with supplier in a timely manner

  • Communicate with customer on any potential shipment delays to avoid downtime

  • Work closely with Regional Manager to ensure the management is being kept abreast with ongoing matters and alert them when there are any foreseen risks

  • Maintain an accurate Position Summary daily for the relevant trades, i.e., keying in new trades, update all prices and relevant cost.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation with trader to ensure hedging position is updated. Timely and accurately reconcile and publish monthly PNL for HQ reporting.

  • Follow up and execute Inventory Management programs by liaising externally to check inventory

  • Manage documentation for all aspects of the supply chain, including Customs matters and financial collateral such as Letter of Credit and self-checked for errors before handing them over to Trade Finance for 2nd checking.

  • Monitor pricing and declarations to customers

  • Liaise with relevant departments internally and externally to get new counter parties approved and set up KYC

  • Source competitive freight rate from forwarders and warehouses

  • Adhere to internal SOPs and contribute to implementing operational procedures


REQUIREMENTS



  • Diploma/ Degree in maritime/ logistics/ supply chain

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the metal trading sector

  • Familiar with shipment incoterms and L/C terms

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Words

  • Able to meet deadlines and objectives set accordingly

SUMMARY

Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Make final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations’ effective achievement of objectives.

Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.

Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Involved in business decisions on the impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations

Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers. Negotiate with customers or management or attempt to influence senior level leaders

THE ROLE

Collaborate with the Service heads at corporate level and in other regions on alignment of the direction, strategies and processes of Field Service to meet financial targets and service level expectations, to improve service revenue and cost efficiency.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of pre and post-sales services and support to clients / customers.

Manage all facets of customer retention (CRM) including participating in the resolution of customer concerns and defining and developing a customer contact strategy.

  • Optimize home shelf space and added visibility points in supermarkets and convenience Stores is focal point which will deliver significant value gains for the company. The emergence of Ecommerce for Brick & Mortar as a key consumption channel is also an opportunity that will fully embraced.

  • Responsible for delivering brand objectives both quantitatively (volume and profit) and qualitatively (visibility, activation, consumer engagement) for the assigned accounts.

  • Design the right implementation plan of the new commercial strategy with the accounts he/she will be in charge of: revisit all investments, define commercial strategy and plans to block competitors on our leading categories and catch-up market share over competitors on growth relay categories, design appropriate communication and negotiation plan.

  • Responsible for sales and space/promotions negotiation to assigned MOFT accounts.

  • Improve the level of partnership with the accounts in order to put company back as a key partner of choice for MOFT accounts: analyze performance regularly, design and implement brand activation plans and sales promotion plans, optimize investments to improve ROI of the account.

SUMMARY


Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resources operational and administrative matters.


THE ROLE


Lead and manage the recruitment processes including liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating with hiring managers on their requirements and ensuring HR processes are adhered to.

Prepare all documents relating to the hiring and pre-onboarding process

Schedule, prepare and conduct onboarding and induction process of new employees and expatriates

Prepare documents relating to the confirmation process of new employees.

Support in the deployment and mobility of expatriates including applications for Employment Work Pass and Family Dependent Pass applications, entry/exit permits, renewals and terminations of expatriates.

Payroll management for employees, including monthly processing, government claims and managing annual tax matters.

Administer and manage employee medical insurance plans and claims, and company corporate insurance plans.

HR Administration including leave management, maintenance of P-files, performance management administration, annual HR Policy declarations, off-boarding matters.

THE ROLE
