  • Key users of transformers tools (digital pricing platform) for follow up, reporting, pricing and others.

Manager, Operations Systems

This position is responsible for managing the team performing agility/cost effectiveness studies as well as business process and systems support for the APAC Region Operations.


Primary accountabilities include:



  • Driving cost savings and/or network efficiency by performing agility studies, executing approved action items and monitoring compliance

Cargo Flow Analyst

Reporting to Cargo flow manager, successful candidate will manage the designated the Cargo Flow activity of CMA CGM Services. Activity extends to optimization full containers and thereafter maximize the ships with Empty evacuation.




Key Result Areas



  • Achieve optimal Service Vessel Voyage Leg (VVP) utilization of perishable network space resources to support the weekly flow of cargo and equipment supply across the network in Asia region.

  • Maintain planned and unplanned Roll Pool or overbooking situation within acceptable and manageable level, that is, no double or more than double roll. This is done through careful planning and coordination with Trades.

  • Ensure workable Trade allocation to avoid sudden hiccups and capitalize on opportunities for better yielding. This is done through the continuous review of allocation with Trades.

  • Achieve efficient Empty Containers match back to support new bookings in demand location through the enforcement of Empty allocation guidelines on Service VVP level. Cargo Flow Officer must work closely with Trades, Sales and Operations to manage Trade-off between Laden and Empty in the event of allocation constraint. This reduces shortages of Containers at demand location, avoids incremental Container On-hire costs and increases Container Turn Time and Turn.

  • Achieve lowest network recovery costs, taking into consideration cargo time sensitivities, entire network implication and costs.

  • Provide network visibility on critical Service VVP choke points by designing own systematic tools for allocation management and planning.

Line Operations Manager, Container Shipping

Summary:


Reporting to Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of your assigned liner services. This is an independent contributor role, where you will be working closely with various stakeholders internally to ensure smooth and timely liner operations, optimizing efficiency and profitability for your assigned services. In your course of work, you are to adhere strictly to the Joint Working Procedure (JWP) and follow international and local regulations.


Your Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:



  • Ensuring the vessels’ schedules of both CMA CGM and Partners are managed and optimized.

  • Manage proforma/structural schedule both for contingency adjustments and permanent to benefit CMA CGM.

  • Communication about ETA and ETD for optimal schedule both on time and for recovery with both internal and external parties (Commercial, Vessel and terminals).

  • Support in developing strategic plans for schedule reliability with the Line/Regions.

  • Establish with the line and business concerning extra costs incurred such as Fuel Oil consumption, restows, Vessels re-deployment, surveys.

Brief Summary


In order to expand our Global Account (GA) customers experience, the successful candidate will act as the Key Account Officer to several high profile customers, providing accurate and timely RFQ responses, help in solving escalation of operational issues and providing general administrative support their assigned Global Accounts. In addition, the Key Account Officer acts as a liaison between the customer and various internal cross-functional departments.






Key Responsibilities:



  • To prepare RFQ documents and spot quotations and submit to Global Accounts and follow up the progress of the offer

  • To work in tandem with the pricing team and other related departments to deliver the customers’ requirements

  • Filing of rates and Customer Space Allocation (CSA) in the system

  • Monitoring and ensuring that awards given are supported fully

  • Arrange and attend Business Review (MBR, QBR etc..)

  • To work with and cooperate with the Agency Network teams in order to provide best customer solutions and business development opportunities at local level

  • Customer specific and GAs department general Data Analysis and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders

  • To assist GAs’ daily requirements, including, but not limited to RFQ pricing, space management, local issue escalation, general rate enquiries, etc


Requirements:



  • Diploma or above

  • 3 years related field experience (in the shipping and logistics industry)

  • In depth knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry and the related markets

  • Significant customer facing exposure and direct account servicing experience

  • Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal and communication skills in fast-paced environment with good analytical skills

  • Problem solving mindset and able to adhere to tight schedules

  • Positive, Ambitious, High degree of initiative and adaptability candidate who will grow along with the Company

  • Excellent in Microsoft Applications (Excel v-look up, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
