Project Coordinator

$2800 to $3500 (Monthly)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review layout of kitchen/wardrobe (imported system furniture) to ensure all components are correct and all measurements are accurate;

  • Review all job site measurements match sales drawing

  • Review appliance locations to ensure they will fit and review proper electrical, gas and plumbing (M&E) is in place or planned as part of the project;

  • Manage client and/or main contractor’s expectations, eg. attend site meetings and feedbacks;

  • Require to do site inspection/ assessment before and after work commenced;

  • Maintaining communications with client and the project’s involved parties;

  • Analyzing and managing risks and issues, eg. site evaluation before and after work commence, resolve site concerns and issues, etc;

  • Managing task and time and ensure quality of work completed, eg. ensure site meets M&E requirements before work scheduling;

  • Monitoring progress against plan, eg. check site progress and arrangement of delivery and work schedule;

  • Ensure work is done accordingly as requested by the customer, project manager or contractor and it is to their standards while maintaining in-house standards;

  • Create and maintain comprehensive site documentation and site update;

  • Report project status and escalate to management as needed;

  • Require to do regular site visits for checking and follow-up on work progress and inspection on work completion;

  • Work closely and sync with installation team to accomplish work done until project ended;

  • Closing the project in a controlled fashion when appropriate, such as well-documented hand-over list and sign-off.

  • Work in tight schedule and deadline of multi-projects;

  • Other tasks deemed necessary.


  • MUST HAVE experience in the Imported cabinet/system furniture industry;

  • MUST HAVE minimum 2 years’ experience in project/site coordination for carpentry and furniture (imported furniture) or relevant building and construction management working experience;

  • Familiar with regulations and standards related to carpentry in construction and renovation;

  • Preferably 1-4 years Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Civil/ Construction/ Structural or equivalent;

  • Education: Diploma in any construction & designing field;

  • Attention to detail/ Eye for detail;

  • Punctuality;

  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings;

  • Basic knowledge in paperwork and computer skills

  • High level of initiative;

  • Great communications skills;

  • Good organisation skills;

  • Work in fast pace and demanding environment;

  • Resourceful in problem resolving;

  • Team player;

  • Attained certification related BCA construction safety course, is an advantage;

  • Possess valid driver’s license, is an advantage

  • Multi-lingual is an advantage.
