Surface - Controls & Automation Lead Engineer

Takes lead technical role for a work package in a project, tender or FEED study. Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Works independently to establish design requirements, conceptualize, plan and execute technical deliverables.

  • Investigate non-conformances and provide technical disposition. Identify root cause of any technical problems and propose solutions to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Receive materials and reviews supplier documentation and compares to the DBI (Data Base Information) to determine dimension specifications, measurements and tests required to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Verify calibration of inspection tools prior to beginning assignment. Inspects product in accordance to the requirements of the DBI and routinely uses micrometers, calipers, indicators, and measuring devices.

  • Perform SAP transactions after completion of QC operations.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:



  • At least 3 years hands on experience as QC/Welding/NDE Inspector in related industries.

  • C SWIP 3.1 or AWS, CWI or Equivalent Certified ASNT Level II on RT, PT, MT and UT.
