Role Summary


This role will report directly to the Head of Client Management.


Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Be part of Reporting team within the Client Management team in-charge of the production and dissemination of BAU factsheets and client reports.

  • Participate in the testing of the new system and manage its impact on the report production.

  • In-source production of factsheets/client reports including analysis of current and new set-up.

  • Assist in the any other regular or ad hoc projects as assigned.


Education Qualification



  • Degree qualified.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, finance or fund management industry.

Associate/Senior Associate, Investment Operations

Role Summary


This is a 12 months contract role reporting to the Head of Investment Operations.


Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Deliver accurate, timely, compliant, and effective trade processing support.

  • Achieve timely confirmation of trades across equity, fixed income, cash products, foreign exchange, derivatives (OTC & ETD), and collateral management and ensuring timely issuance of settlement instructions, cash payments/receipts and required regulatory/client reporting.

Data Engineer

Role Summary


This role will report to Head of Technology & Transformation and Head of Augmented Intelligence.


The incumbent will be responsible for architecting and operating digital services and solutions for data, API, and computing.


Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based investment data platforms that covers end-to-end data lifecycle from raw data ingestion, processing, storage, to delivery including security by design principles.

  • Assist the firm to develop and operate cloud-based API services to deliver investment solutions to clients and partners.

  • Assist the firm to build and operate a cloud-based computing environment that facilitates close and efficient collaboration among data scientists and portfolio managers for the purpose of developing and operating data-driven investment strategies and solutions.

  • Provide guidance and support firm wide business stakeholders on building data uses cases based on value added (new services, operational efficiency, risk reduction).

  • Create and maintain documentation related to platform architecture design, process design and operational procedure.

Education Qualification

Experience and Skills



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data modelling and data integration, preferably in an investment or banking environment.

  • Strong Python skill is necessary.

  • Solid experience in designing cloud based data platform architecture or data analytics solution.

Vice President, Product Development

Role Summary


This role will report to the Head of Product.




The selected candidate will support the Head of Product in product development, product structuring and project management with a primary focus on private market strategies and product partnership initiatives, in addition to other product responsibilities.




The selected candidate will have primary responsibility to coordinate and initiate product discussions with internal stakeholders within Fullerton as well as external stakeholders (e.g. service providers) to grow our private market product range. You will own and drive specific fund-related and product partnership projects assigned to you by the Head of Product from time to time.




Key Responsibilities



  • Support the Head of Product in initiating, facilitating and driving the development, structuring and implementation of new private market strategies and funds.

  • Report to the Head of Product on the progress of overall fund projects and product pipeline, monitoring work streams, budgets (e.g. fee margin, revenue projection and fund expenses) to ensure adherence by stakeholders.

  • Initiate and coordinate the implementation of new product launch initiatives with a primary focus on private market strategies (e.g. private equities, private debt, co-investments, infrastructure, energy, real estate etc.), structured products and product partnership initiatives (e.g. leverage on the investment capabilities of another AMC to launch a product), in addition to other product responsibilities.

  • Responsible for fund launch, restructuring and termination (i.e. follow through the product life cycle of the fund).

  • Perform research on competitor products (peer scan) to come up with sound recommendations of new private market strategies, product positioning, pricing, legal structure, fund domicile etc. to the Head of Product and relevant stakeholders.

  • Project management – Conduct regular project meetings to facilitate discussion with stakeholders on the progress of individual work streams or action points. Includes the preparation of Gantt chart and meeting notes to track next steps and deliverables based on agreed timeline.

  • Conduct verification exercise, close out outstanding issues with individual stakeholders and follow through the entire end-to-end process of new products before “going live”.

  • Comply with internal product approval policy and key operating process for all product initiatives. Keep a proper documentation of all product decisions made and product approvals obtained for audit trail purpose (e.g. Stage 1 In-Principle approval, New Fund Take-on Checklist etc.)

  • Prepare product termsheet, project timeline, business case, fund expense ratio and related materials in consultation with stakeholders, in order to seek approval from the Product Committee.

  • Timely and clear communication of product information in order to coordinate product launch according to pre-agreed project timeline, including operational fund set-up matters, legal documentation, regulatory filing and fund inception.

  • Work closely with Legal to coordinate the review of fund documentation (e.g. PPM, subscription / redemption agreements etc.), clear all contentious and/or outstanding issues with stakeholders.

  • Proactively engage Business Development and Investment team to identify appropriate solutions for clients, with consideration of clients’ risk profile and investment objectives and explore avenues to grow the firm’s AUM for private markets funds.


Education Qualification



  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline, Finance or Business related preferred.


Experience and Skills



  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product development / product structuring, in the finance and/or fund management industry.

  • Familiar with private market products, legal fund structures, tax schemes and investment regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions.

  • Background from Investment Banking or Asset Management preferred.

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in private market assets, including private equity, private credit, hybrids and other illiquid asset classes.

  • Must be familiar with typical private market structures such as GP-LP structures, SICAV RAIF, corporate structure etc. and the associated costings, waterfalls, carry calculations, funding mechanisms, etc.

  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and judgement by gathering and applying relevant data to resolve issues and put forth recommendation.

The selected candidate will serve as Fullerton’s product expert in areas of product development, product structuring and project management. The selected candidate will have the responsibility to coordinate and initiate product discussions with internal stakeholders within Fullerton as well as external stakeholders (e.g. service providers).




Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Primary responsibility is to assist the Head of Product in initiating, facilitating and driving the development, structuring and implementation of Fullerton strategies and funds, with a focus on developing private market strategies/funds.

  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions to clients/investors with consideration of clients’ risk profile and investment objectives and explore avenues to grow the firm’s AUM, with a focus on private market AUM.

  • Perform research on competitor product features (e.g. strategy, pricing, legal structure, size and fund domicile etc.), develop new private market products, product positioning, marketing pitch books etc.

  • Project management and timeline, conduct regular project meetings to facilitate discussion with key stakeholders on progress of individual work streams, fund set-up and legal documentation.

  • Own and control the implementation and delivery of the project timeline.

  • Report to the Head of Product on progress of overall project, including budgets (i.e. revenue projection and fund expenses).

Head of Korea Sales

Role Summary


This role will report directly to CBDO. The successful candidate will play a leading role to raise assets for Fullerton’s entire range of private and public markets strategies, as well as other strategies, where applicable.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


The successful candidate will focus primarily on the coverage of institutional and intermediary clients in Korea with added focus on raising assets for alternative and private markets strategies.


Principal responsibilities include:



  • Develop deep relationships with Korean investors across all levels so as to understand the clients’ investment direction and provide appropriate advice and solutions by leveraging Fullerton’s resources and products

  • Work closely with other members of Fullerton’s sales team on the implementation of strategic sales and marketing efforts in order to expand Fullerton’s business in Korea over the medium to long term

  • Connect Korean investors with the rest of Fullerton and Seviora and associated entities, where applicable, to cross sell opportunities and achieve common client goals


Education Qualification



  • Degree qualified, post graduate degree preferred.


Experience



  • An outstanding professional with the potential to attract new clients to the firm and the technical ability to represent Fullerton’s investment capabilities

  • Minimum of 10 years of distribution experience in fund management industry covering Korean institutions and intermediaries.

  • Specific experience of and exposure to raising assets for alternative and private markets strategies (including private equity, infrastructure, private credit, hedge funds etc.) would be expected. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of time raising assets from these strategies.

  • Self-confident, entrepreneurial and energetic with the ability to interact with colleagues as well as clients with a clear focus on delivering sustainable growth in assets under management.

This position is responsible for supporting our Fullerton IT Transformation Program project by providing end users application support on front end trading system as well as in-house solutions development and managing outsourced service provider.




Key Duties and Responsibilities




Maintenance of front end trading system



  • Supporting users and troubleshooting issues including implementing program logic and making use of upload functionalities to resolve issues

The selected candidate will support the Performance Analysis team in providing investment performance reporting & analytics and assisting fund managers in analyzing sources of fund performance.




Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Maintain and support internally developed computing scripts

  • Daily Valuation Check of all positions

  • Daily NAVs update for Mutual Funds

  • Generate regular monthly performance return and attribution reports to both internal and external parties
