BIM Engineer
GAMMON PTE. LIMITED

$3500 to $5250 (Monthly)

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for creating the Building Information Models & providing necessary support and advisory to design team and operations team

  • Maintain and update the BIM Authoring tool's discipline-specific templates, modelling standards and BIM libraries in accordance with the client's requirements

  • Support tender presentations and promote execution strategies at corporate level

  • Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects

  • Maintain accurate data set in drawings, design specifications and project schedules

  • Assist in research and facilitate the means of better BIM applications to improve communication, coordination, and management and delivery time

  • Coordinate with different stakeholders including consultants, architects and internal team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects with architectural designs and the usage of BIM models


Requirements:



  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services/Architecture/Civil/Structural Engineering

  • At least 4 years’ experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD and 2 years relevant experience working on LTA projects

  • Candidates who are formally trained in BIM (Specialist Diploma or BCAA or equivalent Modelling Training Certification) preferably with at least 2 years of experience in service coordination using BIM or BIM Management and/or modelling in a design, engineering or construction firm for large projects will have an added advantage

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently

  • Willing to be based at project site

Site Agent

$5800 to $7000 (Monthly)

Responsibilities



  • Supervise and coordinate site manpower & subcontractors’ deployment to ensure that site activities are executed in accordance with the schedule

  • Monitor the use of site labour, materials and plant resources to ensure they are deployed and utilized optimally and effectively in accordance with the project cost budget

  • Prepare and update manpower, materials and plant schedule

  • Ensure all materials and labour costs are properly checked, measured and valued

  • Ensure all short-term programmes are properly coordinated to all parties concerned

  • Ensure proper safety conduct and standards of all site operations

  • Plan and organize various statutory inspections and handover with client’s representatives

  • Check and ensure that subordinates and contractors are working on latest construction information and in accordance with the required quality standards

  • Reduce waste and abortive works and promote good environmental and sustainable practices




Requirements



  • Diploma/Certificate in Building Studies/Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • 10 years’ experience in the control and supervision of construction projects

  • Experience as Sub-Agent / Site Agent in major projects preferred

  • Good safety knowledge and attitude

  • Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude

  • Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills

  • Strong negotiation and planning skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Mechanical Engineer
GAMMON PTE. LIMITED

$3500 to $5500 (Monthly)

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and the requirements of the contract including drawings and specifications

  • Monitor and control works including those of sub-contractors to ensure compliance with the specified requirements

  • Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are properly planned and executed according to the program

  • Ensure material submission and approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules

  • Liaise and co-ordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors and sub-contractors and authorities, and to establish rolling program

  • Coordinate meetings and daily briefings at site

  • Prepare cost estimation, budget and control, and to check sub-contractors’ progress claim

  • Monitor and supervise work progression, quality control and ensure that safety regulation is observed

  • Perform testing and commissioning at work site

  • Prepare shop drawings for construction

  • Excellent understanding in details of the electrical and mechanical systems


Requirements:



  • At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

  • At least 3 years’ onsite experience, preferably in HVAC and mechanical distribution systems (chillers, air handling units etc) to include air and water side systems

  • Able to work independently and under pressure to ensure good site progress

  • Good safety knowledge and attitude

  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with statutory authorities
