Primary Purpose


Strategy:


To Increase the Sales, Market Share and Profitability of Goodyear Singapore’s portfolio of products and services within Goodyear Distributors, retailers, mass merchant and 4S stores through the execution of sales and marketing strategies


Consumer: To execute Distributor account management, ensuring optimise market & channel coverage, managing trading terms and resources, ultimately driving profitability for both GY Singapore and Distributors. To execute best practice application across the range of Retail Store design and fit-out, Retailer Customer Service, Retail Training, Retail Marketing, consumer loyalty programs and promotions; providing the processes for continuous monitoring and improvement.


Consumer: To drive brand preference for GY tires within the distributor, their sub dealer base and mass merchant channel.


To establish and monitor criteria that drive Goodyear’s success in emotional brand development, as well as physical branded retail store presence.


Commercial: Responsible for growing/expanding specific the business unit/channel/portfolio. Managing key financial KPI's (unit sales, ANSP, profit, mix, coverage), strategizing product channels growth, and retail/fleet execution. Improve sales forecast acuracy, cost savings, increasing customer satisfaction as well as eliminating business risks. Provides inputs to enhance the demand planning process to continuously improve the S&OP.




Principle Duties and Responsibilities



  • Revenue Growth/Financial Objectives: (a) Total Units Target; (b) Distributor Productivity

  • Development of Channel Strategies and Programs both short long term focus aligned to company business direction, objectives and strategies

  • Management of Account Receivables

  • Drive branded retail productivity, by having the correct product mix relevant to the territory supported with ample triggers to ensure foot traffic. Including signage refurbishment and DIY initiatives

  • Ensures there is consistent strategy alignment with Branded Retail Programs. Works with Branded Retail and other Sales & Marketing counterparts to deploy best business practices and integrate within Key Account Plans.


Requirements



  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related field, is required.

  • Minimum five to seven years in a relevant role, preferably a multinational company.

  • Knowledge in market analysis, financial analysis, customer relations, budget management, needs analysis, strategic planning and brand positioning is preferred.

  • Must have leadership and people-management skills that will enable the development of a high-performing marketing organization.

  • Proven ability for strategic analysis/thinking Product Commercialization Process & Consumer Lifecyle Marketing

  • Ability to work at all levels in a multinational organization

  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills in English
