Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:



  • The lead supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day field installation activities on the Project. The individual in this role ensures adherence to design basis and quality requirements for all assigned Structural/Piping/Equipment and support installation works.

  • Provides technical assistance to the contractor and keeps them informed on matters relating to safety and quality control.

  • Keeping track of project progress.

  • Day-to-day management and co-ordination of lifting operations on site.

  • Oversee the use of all crane and hoisting equipment on site.

  • Conduct daily lifting co-ordination meetings whenever two or more cranes will operate on site simultaneously and their operating radii overlap to ensure proper planning and minimize the risk of collision.

  • Review and approve contractor’s task specific RA, SWP and Lifting Plans for lifting operations.

  • Implement and monitor the site inspection and maintenance regime requirements as outlined within this plan for all cranes and lifting equipment / accessories to ensure their integrity and fitness for use.

  • Check and verify contractor’s lifting crew competencies and appointments.

  • Ensure the compliance of lifting operations to the Project’s Lifting Management Plan.

  • Monitor the safe execution of lifting operations in accordance with the approved crane lifting plans.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.

  • Set performance goals and deadlines, plan construction processes.

  • Monitor and report on project progress and ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.

  • Performs coordination and communications with Construction Manager, Site Engineers, Safety Officer & Contractors.

  • Initiates, coordinates, and oversees the implementation of Site works.

  • General coordination with multiple groups across jobsite.

  • Support the Construction Manager in resolving issues related to applicable Structural/piping/Equipment installations and activities

  • Review of Work Packages in planning, working, and closure.

  • Update Work Packages and/or create additional steps for appropriate changes.

  • Observes and ensures construction practices as required for compliances of construction operations/execution with local regulations & codes, industry standards, company procedures, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret ISO/GA/P&ID drawings

Responsibilities



  • Receives and registers all projects related incoming and outgoing document from customer, sub-contractor, vendor and in-house generated document.

  • Controls issuance of document numbers/transmittals, including maintenance of proper document registers

  • Maintains specifically assigned project database/s.

  • Setting up and maintain project filing/document systems.

  • Manage the process of distribution of internal/external correspondence and ensure good tracking system in place for easy retrieval.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Involve in project to ensure smooth flow of project materials by coordinating with individual disciplines/Vendors/suppliers and contractors.

  • Daily update the material status of Purchased items in Material Status Report.

  • To utilize the surplus materials prior raising any Purchase Request.

  • To evaluate MTO from Engineering and construction team to ensure all information is aligned and captured.

  • Familiar with project material specifications (Latest Revision)/ requirements such as approved vendor list (AVL), country of restrictions if any etc.

Job Summary:


Gradiant is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to support the Controls and Automation Design work for EPC/Design and Build Water Treatment Projects in the APAC region. The candidate should have goods technical, organizational, and communication skills for handling Controls & Automation for multiple projects.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Lead all aspects of Control and Automation work for the project.

  • Design and technical support for the projects including hardware, software, instrumentation, and controls elements as part of an integrated system.

  • PLC and SCADA programming work for the entire project, experienced for major PLC brands including but not limited to Siemens, Allan Bradley, etc.

  • Basic duties and responsibilities including but not limited to: Review project/client’s specifications, preparing necessary documents, submission to client, coordinating with client to get approvals, preparing the RFQ as per the project specifications / approved documents, getting the vendor quotes, prepare the technical and commercial comparison, discuss with the concerned team members to finalize the vendor, prepare the purchase requisition, coordinate with purchase dept. for the PO, coordinate with the vendor for necessary engineering and manufacturing work, follow-up/expedite with the vendor to ensure the delivery as per the schedule, FAT with the vendor, coordinate with vendor & site team for material delivery to site.   • Prepare/submit /get the approval of the documents including but not limited to: Control Architecture, IO List, Datasheets, Specifications, Control Philosophy, Control Narrative, Functional Control Specifications, Cause & Effect Matrix, Logic Diagram, Control schematics, Alarm, and Interlock List, functional and technical specifications, HMI / SCADA Screens, Cabinet / Panel design, Panel/Control/Signal wiring, Bill of material, FAT procedure & report, SAT procedure & report.

  • Support proposal, engineering, project management, and site construction/commissioning/operation team for E&IC work as and when required.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Instrumentation & Controls/ Electronics & Communications/Equipment.

  • Minimum 5 to 7 year’s experience handling relevant Controls and Automation projects in Singapore/Malaysia/ Southeast Asia.

  • Certification & Experience for PLC and SCADA.

  • Development/programming for Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other reputed brand PLCs is essential.

  • Certification & Experience for WONDERWARE software will be considered as an added advantage.

Continuous improve process technology knowledge and develop competitive budget and firm proposals that provide differentiation where possible for water and wastewater projects to enable growth for Gradiant in all targeted markets. Undertake detailed process engineering for awarded projects to support the project execution teams and deliver profitable projects. Provide process support to optimize and troubleshoot operating plants when required which will ensure lowest lifecycle costs and provide feedback for improvements in design.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Project Management, Procurement:



  • Develop cost effective and innovative water/wastewater treatment process design that meet client design basis and requirements.

  • Develop PFD, GA, P&ID, interface drawings and any other materials relevant to proposals submission.

  • Develop project costing through lifecycle of the project and submit to business development for pricing.

  • Develop technical and commercial proposals by working with internal teams (BD, engineering, operations, HSEQ), as required.

  • Prepare and deliver client proposals on time and with the highest work quality.

  • Participate in vendor evaluation and risk assessment process.

  • Participate and present in customer meetings and design reviews if required (Bid Clarifications, HAZID/HAZOP studies).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Logistics:



  • Working closely with logistics/shipping companies or agents for scheduling shipments

  • Handling end to end coordination and documentation for all modes of shipments.

  • Preparing Certificate of Origin, customs/insurance declaration

  • Preparing LC, freight, BL, Invoice, Packing List, and insurance drafts

Job Summary


As process engineer, he/she will contribute to design and development of feasibility study for different wastewaters, Jar and column testing, Membrane (RO/NF/CFRO) and CGE pilot plant testing at lab/site. Responsible for the process and applications engineering projects coordination, operations and maintenance of pilot plant within the lab. Support and coordinate with sales, business development team to understand the problem statement. He/she will be part of the process & applications engineering team and will work closely together with the NPI team located in Singapore, Australia and USA. Your work is part of the development and optimization of future Gradiant products. Represent Gradiant locally in compliance with Company culture and standards.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Participates and leads membrane testing, Jar and column testing and feasibility studies.

  • Prepare test plan using design of experiments (DOE), test report and present to the internal/external customers.

  • Support to run the membrane (RO/NF/CFRO) & Carrier Gas Extraction (CGE) pilot systems and prepare standard operating procedures.

  • Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies (e.g. chemical preparation, preventive maintenance activities, corrective maintenance, instrument calibration, membrane cleaning, troubleshooting, process optimization) as directed by Gradiant Process Engineering Managers.

  • Protocol Transfer from Lab-scale to Pilot-scale design of water and wastewater treatment systems.

  • Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) & Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs).

  • Provide knowledge of the process and contributes to the update of the process reference documentation on the unit process.

  • Coordinate proposal development with internal teams (BD, engineering, process, operations, safety), as required

It has over 150 employees in the USA and has starting a R&D center at Singapore (Clean Tech Park I near NTU). The NPI Engineer will be part of a cutting edge product development/R&D team and will be responsible for developing and optimizing treatment solutions for industrial wastewaters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to design, fabrication, and optimization of treatment processes on and off-site. Candidate will utilize knowledge and competency in both science and engineering principles to collect empirical data and conduct critical analyses to provide support to team. Candidate will contribute to prototyping innovative technologies to optimize cost and quality of treatment.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities:




1. Develop treatment processes:



  • Design and test different thermal desalination processes including Carrier Gas Extraction (CGE)

  • Model and run simulations to optimize design process

  • Design and test unique operational processes to treat a wide range of wastewaters.
