Description of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for daily deliveries according to supervisor’s schedule plan.

  • Perform picking & packing of outgoing goods.

  • Receive and check incoming goods in quantity and quality.

  • Work closely with customer service for on time deliveries.

  • Perform 4 eyes principles on outgoing goods.

  • System update and procedure, data entry, records and reports.

  • Participate in stock take.

  • Work with EHS and Precious Metal compliances.

  • Able to support ad-hoc delivery outside normal working hours

  • Class 3 manual license

  • Apply required licence by taking course.

Knowledge: (acquired information necessary to do the job)

  • Possess knowledge in warehouse operations and shipping.

  • Possess ERP system knowledge

Skills: (acquired measurable behaviors)

  • Able to manage inbound/outbound activities and ensure smooth operations

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in logistics & warehousing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Operate instruments and machines for silver paste batching, milling, and printing.

  • Prepare lab samples and perform measurement, testing and characterization.

  • Record precise results and findings

  • Perform SAP transactions for orders opening/closing and scrap disposition.

  • Conduct material inventory check, maintaining R&D lab consumables inventory and liaising with vendors on equipment calibrations.

  • Assist Engineers and Scientists with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

A minimum of a NITEC in a scientific discipline, and a minimum of 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing industry. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Motivated individual with great attention to detail will be preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Ability to speak up and ask for clarification or assistance when needed.

Mathematical Skills

Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills are required. Ability to conduct measurements and conversions of measurement units. Simple calculation of percentages and ratios. Ability to use simple formulations in Excel.

Reasoning Ability

Requires both inductive and deductive reasoning and problem sensitivity. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent must be delicate and detailed in handling samples and equipment. The processes and testing to be performed can be fragile and need to be handle with care. The incumbent may also be required to do some lifting of materials during inventory check.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts as well as hazardous materials/chemicals. The noise level in the laboratory environment is usually quiet to moderate. This person will be required as needed to wear Specialized Protective or Safety Equipment such as Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, or Breathing Apparatus.


  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.

General Summary

Sets up and operates light or heavy metalworking machines in the areas of Machining, Melting, Rolling, Powder Processing/Consolidating and general Manufacturing.

Final Inspection - Inspects and verifies product conformance to material specifications including raw materials, in-process product, or contract manufactured product. Inspects dimensions and other attributes of manufactured products (in-process and finished) for conformance to requirements.

Jobs & Responsibilites

1.Performs daily functions using computer systems and intra company processes to account for materials and labor time, and document quality issues.

2.Reads and interprets work orders, instructions, engineering specifications and control charts in order to determine work assignments and process specifications.

3.May select and transport material to work area manually or using hoists or devices.

4.Sorts and counts metal and parts, scrap samples and other materials according to inventory controls and performs all required inventory transactions.

5.Stops production of defective product or product not in conformance with customer requirements.

6.Visually examines and monitors proper operation of equipment, and alerts supervisor and/or area team leader of deviations from standards and of maintenance requirements. May clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required.

8.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by continually updating skills and knowledge in related fields.

9.Files, trims, saws, buffs, drills using hand tools and power tools.

10.Inspects dimensions and other attributes of manufactured products for conformance to requirements using precision measuring instruments, inspection techniques, and verifying conformance to specifications in PTF measurement.

11Works with team to support the manufacturing areas by continually looking for ways to increase productivity and meet business goals.

12.Verifies conformance, using SPC applications, of finished work piece to specifications and inputs data into database.

13.Removes mold compacts post-pressing, removes pressed pucks from molds, cleans debris from pucks using provided tools.

14.Operates controls and monitors process parameters of rolling equipment to achieve and maintain specifications.

15.Operates controls and monitors process parameters of mixing, vacuum, sieving, drying and blending equipment to achieve and maintain specifications.

16.Performs physical inventory and cycle counts.

17.Completes inspections by utilizing inspection sheets, computer transactions, and product documentation. Cleans and packages product for storage or shipment.

18Replaces consumable items such as saw blades, garnet, melting crucibles, etc.

The use of a P100 respirator is required in areas where air contaminants are at or above the OSHA Permissible Exposure Level (PEL). The incumbent may also be exposed to intense light that requires welding eye protection.
