SPA Operation Manager

$2600 to $3300 (Monthly)

We are hiring for Operation Manager for Japanese SPA boutique.

Work Location: Somerset (5min walk from Somerset MRT)

Spa Managers oversee all aspects of the operations of beauty, health and wellness spas. Their core duties include managing staff, overseeing facility maintenance, developing budgets and creating marketing and promotions campaigns. Staff-related duties could entail hiring, training and scheduling employees. In addition, Spa Managers required to interact directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction with spa services and personnel.

In order to meet their core responsibilities of personnel and facility management and promoting spa services, Spa Managers must perform many tasks.

Recruit and Oversee Staff

  • Spa Managers are typically involved in employee recruiting, selection and training. They typically set employee schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings to keep employees updated on spa procedures and policies.

Manage Operations Budget

  • A budget is crucial to the operations of any business and it falls to Spa Managers to create and manage such a budget. They set annual financial goals, review costs for spa procedures and services, oversee payroll and establish budgets for advertising, sales campaigns and promotional events.

Assist with Promotions and Sales

  • In many cases, Spa Managers have a hand in creating promotional and public relations campaigns to raise public awareness and visibility of their spa and its services to generate sales and increase memberships. They also assist in creating membership incentives and sales promotions leading to a larger client base.

Supervise Facility Maintenance

  • Spas must typically meet sanitation guidelines and it usually is up to Spa Managers to make sure that facilities are properly cleaned and that all equipment is in working order. This might include ensuring that tools are adequately sterilized, linens are washed and a proper inventory of supplies are maintained.

Ensure Customer Satisfaction

  • As with any service-oriented business, spas rely on customer satisfaction and Spa Managers are generally responsible for ensuring that customers’ expectations are met. Spa Managers might interact with clients to get feedback about services and facility cleanliness, handle customer complaints and create customer service tools such as comment cards and surveys.

Job Duties

Duties of a spa manager can include recordkeeping, conducting promotional campaigns, maintaining stock inventories and payroll management.

Employee-related responsibilities of a spa manager typically include the hiring, training and supervision of staff. Mangers typically create weekly work schedules, train new employees and arrange staff workshops on new techniques and procedures.

Job Requirement:

  • At least 1 year of rel3vant team and boutique management experience is required.

  • Spa managers require no formal education, but prefer candidates with an associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or business management.

  • Can work in health clubs, resorts or hotels, and should understand and stay current on all local health and licensing regulations.

We are looking for Receptionist for Japanese Spa Outlet

Spa receptionists are usually the first people clients see in a highly service-driven environment. This is one reason why strong customer service skills and an outgoing personality are helpful skills for this position. A high school diploma is typically the minimum educational requirement, but a receptionist certificate can be helpful.

Work Location: Somerset (5 min walk from Somerset MRT)

  • Responsible for answering the telephone, transferring calls, taking accurate messages, greeting customers, cashiering, giving tours of the spa facility and scheduling appointments.

  • Other responsibilities include notifying staff members of any customer cancellations or the arrival of any unscheduled visitors.

  • Duties may also include light administrative and clerical duties, such as opening and distributing mail, filing, data entry and the preparation of letters and documents.

Job Description

  • Receptionists meet and greet customers, providing a positive and friendly attitude. They check in customers as they arrive for their scheduled appointments. They may also provide daily maintenance of the spa's lobby or reception area. Caring for office furniture, plants and periodicals are some examples of these additional duties.

Requirements to Become a Spa Receptionist:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency

  • Require excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Professionalism is also required and prior customer service or office experience is preferred.
