Art Project Manager
IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

Art Project Manager


The art project manager is responsible for the entire art project management process, delivery of game art deliverables, effective prevention and management of risks and building effective teamwork to achieve project goals.




Your Responsibilities


· Develop art production plans and schedules, standardize corresponding process guidelines and project completion standards


· Facilitate the daily execution of the art team and is responsible for progress tracking and control, risk monitoring, coordination and resolution of problems to ensure the completion of the work plan


· Establish clear, transparent and effective communication channels to promote internal and external communication for the art team


· Manage the outsourcing process and communications as well as analyze the performance of the vendors


· Analyze the art team’s effectiveness and efficiency and problem solve issues that occur within scope of the art team’s work and processes.




What We Are Looking For


· A minimum of 2+ years game production experience


· Knowledge of art production process, project management, and resource management


· Analytical and with problem solving aptitude


· Well organized


· Capacity to analyze risk and make contingency plans

Senior Game Localization Specialist (English/Chinese)
IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

$3500 to $4500 (Monthly)

Responsibilities


● Translate, proofread, edit, and revise all text used by IGG games: content, news, promotions, guides, events, etc., from mainly Chinese to English (and vice versa at times).


● Localize all text used by IGG games for the appropriate countries and regions.


● Write creative copy for publication on various platforms in both English and Chinese, including headlines, slogans, captions, and other marketing materials.




Who we are looking for



  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in translation, localization, or editing.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics/Languages, Communications, Multimedia, Game studies, or other relevant fields.

  • You have a professional knowledge of mobile games, particularly what terms are used in them and how they are phrased.

  • Your English grammar is perfect, you can navigate archaic turns of phrase with ease, and your vocabulary can impress at least one other person.

  • You are able to communicate fluently in both Chinese and English, both verbally and in writing, in any and all settings.


Requirements (you must have at least one of the following)



  • Aside from Chinese and English, you are fluent in at least one other language.

  • You have experience working with global translation vendors.

  • You have story-writing experience.

  • You have experience working with CAT tools.

  • You have an in-depth knowledge of IGG games.

Project Manager

IGG Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to join the Singapore Team to develop high quality Mobile game titles.


This is a permanent position based in Singapore, and requires working onsite.




Your Responsibilities


· Participates in the strategic and tactical planning process & assumes ownership of the planning and progress vs. plan;


· Own the production pipelines and content delivery, iterating on process as needed to find the most effective methods;


· Own the build submission process of getting a development update to the live environment;


· Responsible for team agile practices and ensure project completion and acceptance;


· Monitors progress, provides regular overview, forecasts potential deviation and provides regular follow-ups to project stakeholders;


· Participates in quality reviews of the work completed on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards;


· Identifies and analyzes risks and project priorities, suggests alternative solutions and monitors their implementation;


· Acts as interface between different stakeholders in the project, in order to ensure that activities are aligned and implemented effectively;


· Collaborates with other managers to motivate and inspire team members, while encouraging creativity and team spirit;


· Evaluate the needs of the team in terms of resources and jobs, and ensure that these are met, maintain a good standard of commitment and team motivation to create a work environment that promotes productivity.

Game Writing Editor / Senior Game Writing Editor
IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

$3500 to $4500 (Monthly)

Responsibilities:

1. Do a write-up of all story content resources (background, plot outline, chapter summary, etc.) according to the project requirements, send it to the game writers, and receive and compile submissions.

2. Contract, liaise, and retain good game writers, answering their questions and helping them improve their writing.

3. Review and perform quality checks on all submitted story content. Uncover up and coming game writers, and identify quality content.

4. Set up and optimize KPIs for story content creation, and review and monitor KPIs of contracted writers.

5. Periodically collate popular stories and trends, and share them with the game producer and operations staff.

6. Work with Operations staff to settle any conflicts with writers; protect the rights of the writer and maintain a positive image for the platform.




Requirements:

1. 3 years or above of editing or reporting experience in a major media organization.

2. Loves reading and writing original works. Familiar with most major literature sites.

3. Experience in creating scripts or interactive novels. Experience creating via Wattpad, Chapters, Episode, or other AVGs will be a plus.


4. Must be a English speaker, who lived or studied in Europe/North America, and understands their culture as Europe/North America are our main target markets. Also must be able to communicate in Chinese in order to provide feedbacks and handle queries and concerns from Chinese speaking associates.


5. Degree in English, Media, Psychology, or Sociology will be a plus.

6. Good communication skills, patient, and able to handle stress.

We are looking for a Lead/Senior QA to manage a small QA team and support quality assurance testing of mobile game projects here in Singapore.


In this role, you will work alongside fun-loving, skilled and passionate game developers in the full development cycle of a game (from conception of a feature to the full implementation of it)

Job Responsibilities



  • Build and manage an effective QA testing team.

  • Setup the framework and process of testing for the team.

  • Create the testing plan in conjunction with relevant project leads and team members.

  • Communicate, create and send regular status reports on the ongoing quality (bug situation) of the project to the development team.

  • Review and analyse feature design specifications.

  • Help replicate hard to reproduce production issues.

  • Determine the improvements to the test processes to ensure that the testers work efficiently.

  • Create and manage the bug JIRA dashboards and bug reports for the project.


Qualification



  • 3+ years’ experience in the video game industry as a Senior or Lead QA/QC.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA) and version control software (e.g. SVN).

IT Operations Engineer
IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

Responsibilities:



  1. Deploy online game services, distribute new versions, update and configure servers.

  2. Communicate with operations staff and fulfill the operating and maintenance requirements of each team.

  3. Maintain daily game operations through process automation and instrumentalization.

  4. Implementation of new games, framework analysis, and pain-point assessment and optimization.

  5. Monitor online game operations and rectify bugs promptly to ensure stable game service.

  6. Set up the hardware and estimate the bandwidth required for online game services.

  7. Analyze industry trends, and ensure all equipment and bandwidth infrastructure are in place.


Requirements:



  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  2. Degree in Computing or a related major.

  3. Minimum 2 years experience in the IT industry, with at least 2 years experience in server maintenance.

  4. Proficient in at least one of the following scripting languages: Shell, Perl, or Python.

  5. Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration. Have a certain amount of knowledge on system performance.

  6. Familiar with Apache, iptables, Nginx, MySQL, Squid, and FTP configurations and maintenance.

  7. Familiar with MySQL, SQL Server, and other database management systems.

  8. Familiar with load balancing and dual-system hot backup. Have a certain degree of knowledge on server hardware.

  9. Experience with large-scale website maintenance is a bonus.
