Construction Manager

Job role



  • The Site Manager manages the execution of construction operations, validates the construction, installation and assembly of components, equipment and systems and completion of activities.

  • The candidate also assesses compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.

  • The candidate is meticulous and highly detail-orientated, possesses strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholder management and works on-site.


Job description



  • Assist in project implementation, efficient use of resources till successful projects completion within contractual schedule and budgeted cost

  • Assist in planning and creating schedules and project timelines

  • Track deliverables, control subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedule, safety and quality objectives

  • Ensuring all works carried out to meet the company’s quality standards and contractual requirements

  • Co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all projects matters

  • Ensure engineers, supervisors & foremen meet clients & regulatory requirements as well as environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all times

  • Planning of housekeeping by coordinating responsibilities of site engineers/site supervisors and sub-contractors

  • Other ad-hoc duties by Management assigned from time to time


Job requirements



  • Recognized Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering) or equivalent

  • Minimum 7 years of practical working experience with 5 years in Building Projects Construction Management with the Main contractor

  • Certificate in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers

  • Excellent leadership, time management, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Able to implement Construction Project Management good practices

  • Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude

  • Good team player with strong leadership skills

  • Skilled in managing and motivating diverse, multi-functional, multi-cultural project teams.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Accounts Officer
KAJIMA OVERSEAS ASIA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.

$2800 to $3500 (Monthly)

Job description & requirements:


1. Accounts payables management



  • Prepare expense/payment documentations for management approvals

  • Process staff claims in accordance with the company’s policies

  • Ensure all requests for payments are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation

  • Input supplier invoices, debit and/or credit notes into the accounting system

  • Ensure prompt and accurate payments to legitimate creditors/vendors

  • Reconciliation of suppliers’ statement of accounts and follow up on discrepancies

  • Maintain proper records of approved vendors and vendor codes in the accounting system


2. Accounts receivables management



  • Ensure all invoices are processed/issued in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures

  • The input of AR invoices into the accounting system

  • Ensure AR is promptly received in accordance with credit policies


3. Prepare closing accounts reports


4. Monitor projects’ cash movements to avoid overdrafts


5. Prepare bank reconciliation and support preparation of audit schedules


6. Prepare Form 5 schedules for GST reporting and manage GST receivables/payables


7. Liaise with quantity surveyors, site admins, internal departments and group companies for related transactions


8. Other ad-hoc and administrative duties



  • LCCI, CAT, ITE and Diploma in Accounting or higher

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in an accounting position

  • Knowledge in using MS Word/Excel and accounting systems (Candidates with knowledge of SunSystems or Acumatica Systems an added advantage, nevertheless, training will be provided)

  • Meticulous, Dedicated and positive working attitude, willing to learn and have a strong sense of responsibility

  • Proactive, demonstrate good initiative and able to work with minimum supervision

  • Salary shall commensurate with qualifications and working experience
