  • Strengthening Kantar’s reputation as behavioural experts by contributing to conferences, publishing thought pieces and maintaining a social media presence

  • Guiding and managing junior level staff, and supporting knowledge and skills development

There’s no one ‘right person’ for this job – but it’s more likely that you’ll enjoy us and we’ll love you if you

Key Capabilities:

  • Have a deep understanding of the behavioural science literature and its application to real-world problems, preferably built through industry experience or suitable academic qualifications, eg MSc in Behavioural Economics, Social Psychology or related academic discipline

  • Have at least 2-6 years of relevant experience, within government, public/third sector, research consultancy or academia

  • Have a genuine interest in issues facing the public sector and desire to make a positive social impact

  • Are ambitious, and interested in innovation and creative thinking – excited by learning curves and being challenged

  • Are willing to get stuck in – recognising that research consultancy offers big highs (presenting to Ministers; saving lives!) via day-to-day hard work (data checking, timetable management, etc)

  • Are able and happy to respond quickly and work at pace when required

  • Care about quality and ‘getting it right’ – taking pride in doing great work

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – and be interested in honing them further

  • Are a real team player – interested in working with and learning from others to do great things, keen to have a laugh and enjoy your colleagues, and relish the opportunity to contribute to a growing, inter-disciplinary team

  • Integrate additional data to build out insights – for example, from qualitative phases of work, published data or wider perspective on cultural issues, context etc

  • Presentation of findings to client team, with a clear point of view on implications and next steps

  • Project planning, allocating team members appropriately to roles on project, managing time plans

  • Frequent client communication by email, video conference or telephone

There’s no one ‘right person’ for this job – but it’s more likely that you’ll enjoy us and we’ll love you if you

Key Capabilities:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – and be interested in honing them further
