The company was founded in 1986 in a 1,000 square feet office at Thye Hong Centre. It has since grown into a formidable player in the marine industry.


Recognizing the need to stay ahead and to be more competitive in a rapidly globalizing economy, the company was renamed LFA Global Pte Ltd in 2006. This change in name reflects the direction of the business to grow beyond the shores of Singapore and establish a foothold in the global market.


LFA Global Pte Ltd runs its office and warehouse from a 22,000 square feet modern facility situated at Gul Lane on the western part of Singapore and currently has more than 30 staff servicing various customers, from small companies to large enterprises in the marine industry.

Machinist
LFA GLOBAL PTE. LTD.

$2200 to $2500 (Monthly)

· Able to do set up and operate Lathe/ Milling / Drilling machines.


· Do tool-setting and work piece-setting


· Able to read and understand engineering drawings


· Able to calculate, set, and modify machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cuts, tapers, etc)


· Able to understand and apply basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing


· Ability to use basic measuring instruments, gauges, and measuring techniques


· Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.


· Study sample parts, blueprints, drawing, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.


· Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunction and to determine the need for adjustments or repairs. Include maintaining of machines


· Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of machining, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.




Requirements:


· Minimum NITEC or HIGHER NITEC or any technical qualification in Precision Machining.


· Minimum 3 years’ working experience in precision, machining, engineering industry.


· Possess a positive work attitude, hardworking, organized, responsible, and able to work independently.


· Able to do shift work, work overtime and weekends when required.
