Summary


To be successful in eCommerce, it goes beyond just setting up an online store, doing marketing and selling products. Major eCommerce companies understand the importance of being operations-driven. Optimising existing infrastructures to cater to a huge audience efficiently and creating convenience for customers with a sound operations infrastructure are essential to the success of an eCommerce business.


We are looking for a Business Operations Executive with experience in Shopify and Amazon. Someone who wants to grow long term and understands the importance of creating, maintaining, streamlining and improving the business operations infrastructure of an eCommerce business.


You’ll play an important role in helping us build a robust infrastructure operationally working alongside a young and dynamic team that took the business from USD$0 to over USD$30M in just a span of 2 short years.


You will have opportunities to consult and work with global eCommerce brands like Amazon, iherb, Walmart, and many more to expand our business through these channels. For this, being a driven self-starter and having the ability to navigate ambiguity will be key.

Job scope


At the moment, our business operations infrastructure includes (but are not limited to) these platforms and applications:



  • Amazon

  • Shopify

  • Braintree, PayPal, Shopify Payments merchant platforms

  • NoFraud

  • Physical Address

  • Other eCommerce platforms and payment merchants (e.g. iherb, walmart etc..)


Activities that you will be doing in relation to the platforms listed above:



  • Daily checks on e-commerce platform order fulfillment status to ensure all orders are shipped out on time.

  • Fixing e-commerce platform’s unsynced or unfulfilled orders on time to avoid being penalized.

  • Daily prioritizing and following-up on existing issues with the e-commerce platform’s AM.

  • Daily checks to ensure claims/chargebacks on e-commerce platforms are handled on time.

  • Monitor e-commerce platform’s SLAs and KPIs to avoid our commerce store from being at risk of deactivation.

  • Weekly checks to ensure returns (used products) are not added to the e-commerce platform’s fresh inventory

  • Monthly request for bin checks to ensure accurate stock counts with no contaminated stocks on the e-commerce platform.

  • Monthly checks on the customer's return complaints and escalates them to seller support.

  • Upload and update content on the e-commerce platform’s seller center.

  • Identify and propose opportunities to improve and grow our sales on existing e-commerce platforms.

  • Request for early reviews from customers on newer products.

  • Check virtual address mailbox mails for any business-critical mails.

  • Deep dive into dispute rates, escalate it to the relevant stakeholders and take the necessary action steps to resolve them.

  • Check for unusual orders that failed to be detected and take the necessary action steps to resolve them.

  • Escalate customer’s payment-related issues from the internal CS team to the relevant stakeholders or vendors.

  • Communicate, manage and build good relationships with vendors.


Other activities that you will be working on:



  • Cross collaboration on projects and tasks with the different teams.

  • Assist in identifying, setting up, and managing new business opportunities.

  • Manage and maintain the company’s applications subscription tracking.

  • Other ad-hoc business administration and operations-related activities and projects.




Compulsory Requirements



  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • At least 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, BigCommerce) while performing the scope of activities we have listed.

  • Experienced in communicating and working with external vendors.

  • Highly responsible with strong ownership over work regardless of official working hours.

  • Strong attention to detail and produces consistent quality work even under pressure.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Process-driven mindset and systematic thought processes.

  • Support business leaders and various teams to start, manage and drive projects that support an 8-figure ecommerce business

  • Hold teams accountable and push performance levels and standards

  • Collect, organize and pass down information to ensure high levels of teamwork, communication and integration

  • Plan, manage and coordinate tasks, deliverables and timelines while using project management tools and software

As a junior creative strategist, your goal is to find revenue generating opportunities in the business through data analysis and create ad campaigns to capitalise on improving ad performance.


This opportunity is for creatives who bring exceptional design aesthetics to any project. Your work will be displayed to millions of people on a daily basis. Your main focus is to create scroll stopping ads for our ad campaigns using a wide range of design elements including Motion, Typography, Graphics and Layouts - to produce creatives that convert.


While the pace is rigorous and fast, you will be working in a creative team full of supportive, goal-oriented and talented people who are excited to work with you and deliver great results on a daily basis.


Note: This is NOT a not a freelance or contractual role. We’re looking for long-term members to drive our 8-figure global ecommerce project together.

  • Design new ad campaigns on FB/IG for our supplements business .

  • Experiment with different formats, placements and styles to get the best performance possible.

  • Support brand and business strategy discussions to uncover business needs and look for new creative opportunities throughout the customer journey.

  • Study data across multiple channels to reveal consumer insights to inform creative direction and help businesses connect with our customers in meaningful ways.

  • Lead messaging on campaigns and collaborate with writers to develop new creatives that sell.

  • 1-3 years commercial design experience (industry experience in fashion, beauty, marketing & advertising preferred).

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience with Adobe tools (comfortable and fluent in illustrator, after effects etc).

  • Must be able to work fast as we practice rapid testing methods to get ads that perform well on paid traffic (design 9-15 creatives a day).

  • Strong communication with other team members.

  • Good project & time management skills. We work with different departments on multiple projects at the same time. Critical for creatives to be able to manage their time well.

  • Able to think on their feet, create new tests & execute it quickly.

  • Strong market research skills (understands market problems and desires).

  • Good design fundamentals (White space, rule of thirds, contrast etc).

  • Process focused design (has collection of references, competitor collaterals, designs that have worked on standby) vs intuition or instinctual design.

  • Open minded and able to incorporate new ideas into existing work.

Maneuver is looking for a highly driven and confident Designer to join the creative team. As a Designer, you will play an essential role in the conceptual and visual architecture for our ad campaigns that take a spend up to $100k SGD a day on FB & IG.




This opportunity is for someone who brings an exceptional design aesthetic and craft to any creative project. Your work will be displayed to millions of people on a daily basis and your main goal is to create scroll stopping ads for our ad campaigns using a wide range of design elements including Motion, Typography, Interaction and Layouts - to produce ads that convert.

What You’ll Do:



  • Work with in-house copywriter to increase overall campaign performance on Facebook & Instagram (as a team, we're in charge of creatives that spend $80-$100k per day)

  • Implement strategic and conceptual thinking to projects with little oversight.

  • Collaborate with the creative team contributing to creative concepts, visual style and image treatment for projects, pitches; capable of measuring ideas against the industry’s highest design standards, creative strategies and business objectives.

  • Proficient in the Adobe suite, proactively research and pursue opportunities for professional development and become an expert in new tools as they become available.

  • Collaborate with the team to share learning and experience and to establish initiatives and best practices.

  • Contributes to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.




What You’ll Bring:



  • 3 years commercial design experience (industry experience in fashion, beauty, interior design or advertising preferred).

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience with Adobe Suite (comfortable and fluent in illustrator, after effects etc).

  • Strong in both written & spoken English.

  • Good design fundamentals (White space, rule of thirds, contrast etc).

  • Strong market research skills (understands market problems and desires).

  • Able to handle high pressure, result focused environment.

  • Good project & time management skills. Capability of working on multiple projects simultaneously, small or large, with various project leads. We work with different departments on multiple projects at the same time. Critical for designers to be able to manage their time well.

  • Able to think on their feet, create new tests & execute it quickly.

  • Ability to take ownership of projects, as well as willingness to step in to help others as needed

  • Capacity to listen, digest and resolve client feedback with creative solutions and a can-do attitude

  • Ability to think in the big picture, while still obsessive about the details

As a creative performance designer, your goal is to create persuasive ads that attract attention that result in conversions (videos, graphics and gifs). Paired up with strong copy, this is the main revenue driver for our business. Our designers and writers have managed to 5x last year's growth by focusing on this craft and creating ads that convert with cold traffic.




The main difference between performance design and "creative design" is that we quantify and track results from each creative you create. This direct & instant feedback allows us to know what's working/not working immediately and adjust accordingly, quickly.




This means our designers are constantly able to improve their skills, test new ideas and see the impact of their winning designs in real value. Any designer who hones and masters this skill will have an amazing fast track in their career.

a. Most positions will start at the Apprentice level. Where the focus will be on building fundamentals, learning how e-commerce works and building expertise (6 months to 1 year). Progression based on ability to deliver results, work with the team and take ownership over tasks.


b. Next will be about becoming a Project Lead. Focus will be on leading the team you're in, solving problems and ownership of project results. (1 year to 3 years) Adapting a “do what it takes to get performance” mindset is a requirement. As a PL you also have more autonomy in budget allocation and innovation in processes/ tech within your department. Progression based on ability to grow team’s results and performance.




c. Finally, we'll move talents in a management position. Priority here is on growing the company, pushing for new projects and objectives. Creating direction for the company, expansion, acquisition of talents, vendors and partners. Progression based on ability to deliver on results, growing the team and strategic decisions.




4. Job Scope


CORE:


- Design FB & IG ads that support profitable marketing campaigns using persuasive technique and tools that we will train you in (for the following format: static image, short/IG videos, long form/Youtube/Facebook videos, vertical images, GIFS etc).


- Plan marketing campaigns for different segments of audiences (different audiences convert with different creatives and copy). You'll need to understand and be part of this conversation on a weekly basis along with the head copywriter and head designer.


- Optimise ads for different mediums (various interpretations for different platforms and placement). This includes designing landing pages, some content and adjusting our shop aesthetics.


SECONDARY:


- Learn how to manage design related projects (IG influencer campaigns, PR outreach projects, micro influencer endorsement deals etc).




5. Key Requirements


- Experience in commercial design work in at least 1 of these niches (health/beauty, ecommerce, supplements, skincare)


- Proficient in Adobe suite


- Strong understanding of design principles, typography and layout


- Able to write basic persuasive copy for design


- Able to storyboard, write simple scripts and give artistic direction

- Manage a growing team



  • Leading and growing a remote team of 20+ customer support staff to create positive experiences for our customers.

  • Pushing remote team to hit service KPIs while extending the same culture present in our local team

  • Manage remote team daily deliverables and deadlines using project management software

  • Implement service quality tracking and set service standard benchmarks for the team to deliver. This includes quality assurance checks across all platforms
