Marchwood Laboratory Services Pte Ltd (MLS) provides testing and consultancy services in the field of environmental testing to petrochemical, pharmaceutical, electronic, food and oil and gas industries. We equip our laboratories with state of the art instruments like Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometers, Inductive Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry, Inductive Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers, Flow Injection Analyser, Total Organic Carbon Analyser, Ion Chromatography, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer, etc. Our exclusive affiliation with Marchwood Scientific Services, UK, gives us a competitive edge as a global player in the environmental industries as they specialize in Dioxin & Furan testing; trace level of Pesticides/Herbicides, PAH, PCBs, PBDEs in sediments and ultra-pure water using time of flight mass spectroscopy and triple quad GC-LCMS and high resolution GCMS. 



We provide and tailor environmental testing, consultancy, inspection and sampling services for water, sediments/soil/sand/sludge, air and waste to our client needs; including R&D / certification for water treatment technologies. Our team has many years of experience in advance analytical instruments and applying international recognized test procedures such as APHA, USEPA, ISO, ASTM, USP, BS and NIOSH. Our laboratory is SAC-SINGLAS / UKAS accredited to ISO 17025.

Lab Technical Officer
MARCHWOOD LABORATORY SERVICES PTE. LTD.

$1800 to $2200 (Monthly)


  1. Perform Laboratory Test using both wet chemistry and analytical instrument

  2. Documentation records and equipment calibration and maintenance as per SAC-Singlas requirements

  3. Assist to maintain all necessary accessories / parts / consumables for the equipment

  4. Responsible for the preparation of materials / samples / compactions and perform analyses according to procedures and test methods

  5. Accurately verify sample results into computer, compilation of test result, and preparing report

  6. Assist in method development as identified, and new tests to be identified based on business opportunities or client’s requirement

  7. To assist in preparing SOP and train Junior Analyst for the test

  8. Constantly proposing cost-saving measures for daily testing / operations without compromising QAQC plan or data quality objective.


Technical Skill Competencies:-



  1. Assist in coordination and management of testing projects and validations

  2. Assist in inventory control

  3. To learn regarding SAC Accreditation


Skill & Experience



  1. Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical & Life Science, Environmental Science/Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or chemistry-related discipline from local or overseas universities.

  2. With or without working experience as training will be provided.

  3. Degree fresh graduates are welcome

  4. Experience in operating basic laboratory equipment. Those with experience in high end laboratory instrument, method development and research works will be an added advantage.

  5. Must be self-driven, team player with initiative and good communication skill.
