SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:



  • Develop sales & marketing strategies.

  • Coordinate on technical & sales enquiries.

  • Provide support to customers regarding technical issues.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries; handle & resolve issues raised.

  • Formulate costing & quotation to prepare for enquiries on the Company's new building.

  • Provide design modifications to primary propeller & shaft for customization.

  • Follow up with customers & provide after sales service.

  • Identify & develop close customer relationships to drive business revenue to achieve business objectives of the organization.

  • Performs other duties & special projects as requested by management.


Requirements:



  • Degree / Diploma in Business, Marine or Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Possess working knowledge in technical & design principles & practices.

  • Extensive sales project experience in the marine sector.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development & project management.

  • Exposure & business networks in the marine sector with in-depth understanding of the regional markets & international business developments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to articulate & defend recommendations made.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Excellent team player.

ENGINEER / ASSISTANT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:



  • Work with Operation Team to ensure products are delivered to Customers in accordance to the specified requirements on time & right the first time.

  • Create flow of work/ plan, execute projects & continuously monitoring to meet deliverable targets.

  • Be trained to operate on various equipments & machines to support operation work.

  • Interact with external stakeholders, ie. customer, surveyor, etc. & production personnel on work flow, deliverables, quality requirements, etc.

  • To prepare documents as part of the deliverables requirements.

  • Comply with rules & procedures for Engineering, Quality & Safety. Support all efforts related to Safety as applicable.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.


Requirements:



  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Candidates with relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment or marine background will be an added advantage.

  • Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements & different marine classification societies' standards & requirements will be an added advantage.

Assistant Engineer/ Engineer

Job Description



  • Responsible for inspection of products during different stages of productions.

  • Perform inspection of products and ensure quality requirements and acceptance criteria are achieved in accordance to classification societies or customer requirements.

  • Ensure quality requirements and acceptance criteria are met.

  • Prepare document deliverables as per classification societies or customer's order confirmation upon delivery.

  • Operate test lab equipment (tensile test and chemical analysis) to ensure materials meet the required specifications.

  • Prepare test / repair procedures whenever needed.

  • Raise non-conformance if any and report to immediate supervisor.

  • Interact with customer / surveyor and production personnel on quality requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Assist QA Manager in managing the Quality Management System. This includes conducting internal audits, up-keeping of documents and records.

  • Adhere to good housekeeping, environmental and safety practices.

  • Perform any other related duties as assisgned by immediate supervisor.


Requirements



  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant working experiences will also be considered.

  • Relevant working experiences in manufacturing environment or marine R&O background will be an added advantage.

  • Know-how in one or more of these areas : GD&T, NDT, welding, steel fabrication, non-ferrous material casting, and machining technology preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Autocad.

  • Independent, resourceful and good problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
