Senior Business Process Analyst / Manager Business Process Reengineering

Organization Overview


· To be assigned to BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) Team in Corporate Planning Department in MIMS


· BPR Team’s mission is building a support framework to provide information for decision-making by company management and business operation. And it is to be realized by visualizing business processes, by process improvement across the business, by implementing or developing a various types of business application systems, and by a tool creation for information input / output / extraction.




Needs for a new hire


· Not only MIMS runs multiple types of business in 17 countries, but it is still expanding by new acquisition of companies in different countries. Specifically, in the following business administration areas, MIMS wants to implement process improvement together with business application implementation / enhancement.


o Financial Accounting (Individual companies/ Consolidation)


o Managerial Accounting (Budgeting and Forecasting)


o Sales Order Management (Order, Invoicing, interfacing with CRM/SFA)


o Customer Relationship Management (Sales activity management such as sales lead management)


o Human Resources (Salary / Labor / Staff hiring & resignation / Personnel cost forecasting / Talent Management)




Individual role


· Out of the above five business administration domains, Human Resources & another one additional area are to be the responsible areas for the new hire to improve the business processes and business applications.


· For those domains of business administration, to achieve the improvement, understanding the current business process and people’s needs, drawing a to-be business process model, and delivering a necessary solution would be the key responsibility which is required for the new hire.


· Managing role of system development would be one of responsibilities if application system and tool are to be coded by external resources or internal engineers.




Required skills


· Able to enlarge his / her own capability without hesitation, thinking of the best way to achieve an objective or to act along with the strategy.


· Able to draw a blueprint of solution after capturing the real problem in current business processes and application systems. (Namely, it’s about designing a new business process, requirement definition for business application design, and direction to system development)


· Proactively able to pick up problems with discussion points, to put them in a well-structured frame of concept, and to document them with quality.


· Having a facilitation capability and strong mindset to provide a meaningful solution (not a “product of compromise” but an essential solution) through discussions with stakeholders with different point of view.


· Having the experience in process improvement in one of those administration domains – accounting management, sales order management, human resource management.


· Able to read and understand SQL statement and Excel VBA.


· Having the experience in each phase of system development life cycles of company-core business applications in a company like a system integration vendor.


· Able to read / write / speak business level English.


· Able to read / write / speak business level Japanese. (This role requies to discuss with our parent company in Japan)

Senior Product Manager

Job Overview




The Sr. Product Manager, Marketing Platform defines MIMS’s digital platform and web products vision and strategy and ensures its alignment with organization’s overall strategic plan.




The primary purpose of this role is to maximize the value propositions of MIMS.com through serving the needs of healthcare professionals in ways that generate revenue, improve platform performance metrics, or otherwise directly create value for MIMS.




Main Job Responsibilities



  • Identifies capabilities and solutions (technologies, products, services and etc) to maximize value proposition of MIMS’ platform products.

  • Develops and oversee the web strategy, architecture, and functionality of MIMS platform.

  • Enhances website / platform performance metrics through web analytics and makes recommendations for website content changes that will drive business growth.

  • Plans and drives the web service / products development process by translating user testing and customer support feedback into feature/function requirements.

  • Oversees operation activities of the website(s) with specific attention aimed at content creation, traffic management, and website maintenance.

  • Acts as a change agent in leading the organizational changes that are required to create and maintain the necessary digital portfolio.

  • Work closely with programming staff (internal and/or contract staff), ensuring that deadlines, hardware, and programming specifications are met.

  • With extensive knowledge and understanding of the evolving digital market, acts as a thought leader on emerging digital trends related to technology and business.


Requirements: (Must have)



  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital media platform design, digital product development and monetization, advertising, consulting, or related fields

  • Experience of launching digital products or services from idea to execution

  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and innovation trends

  • Familiar with web development technology

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English

  • Strong business acumen

Reporting to the Client Services Director, the Account Manager is responsible for leading project delivery on assigned accounts, ensuring the highest standards are met, exceeding client expectations and meeting delivery and financial targets. Based upon a strong understanding of clients and the market, the Account Manager will also contribute to the overall MedComms business growth.




Key responsibilities of this position include:



  • Manage assigned key accounts to ensure that projects are delivered to brief, time and budget and all quality control procedures are followed

  • Ability to understand client goals and objectives and communicate these with all MIMS staff

  • In collaboration with Business Managers, ensure continued growth of key accounts and securing of new business through industry leading pitches and proposal development

  • Lead internal account team members to deliver best in class client service

  • Monitor and evaluate delivery and take corrective action as necessary to ensure delivery and financial targets are met

  • Build strong relationships within the agency and with clients and maintain a strong understanding of their brand portfolios and needs, to provide tailored and insightful advice on MedComms solutions

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities

  • Provide training as required for new and existing staff to meet MIMS standards

Client Service Director

Reporting to the Group Vice President Singapore and Malaysia, the Client Services Director will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of delivery and client satisfaction to ensure business and financial targets are achieved. Utilising strategic capabilities and deep client understanding, the Client Services Director will lead the team in establishing MIMS as a trusted advisor and industry thought leader, driving MedComms business growth.




Key responsibilities of this position include:



  • Leadership of Client Services team to enable the effective management of client accounts to achieve client and MIMS’ business objectives

  • In collaboration with Singapore and Regional Operations leads, implement systems and processes to ensure efficient delivery to the highest standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate delivery and take corrective action as necessary to meet financial targets

  • Work closely with the Scientific and Operations lead to effectively manage team capacity and optimize resource utilization to meet or exceed defined profitability targets

  • Instigate and lead activities to develop the strategic and tactical direction of key accounts in line with organic growth expectations

  • Develop trusted relationships with key clients and maintain a deep understanding of their needs to proactively provide tailored and insightful consultancy on strategic MedComms solutions

  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation

  • Skilled in new/organic business development; can work with team members to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
