Since then we have garnered a strong & loyal following mainly through the old school (but reliable) manner of word of mouth. We are selfishly protective of our quality as we believe in serving people - we are not feeding farm animals nor trying to make a quick buck & disappear thereafter - a well regarded reputation is more important than money in any instance.


Trends & Fads come and go, but Quality Food is always here to stay and we intend to be there even after the dust settles.

Roles & Responsibilities


At Niche, we take Pride in all our Authentic hand made bakes. Taking "pride" in it also means a commitment to quality & consistency, with the knowledge that we are serving guests who often eventually become friends & loyal patrons. It is a burden that we do not take lightly.


Being “authentic” is not a marketing gimmick; we do not aim to Follow the latest trends or Fad going viral on instagram but rather to create our own quality bakes that will stand the test of time.


It is indeed with this level of Pride & Authenticity that we take upon ourselves when we bake, cook & create each & every item.


Food that isn't made by us, we don't sell & at Niche Savoureuse - which is why we have a strong following of loyal guests.

You are passionate about food;

Responsibilities



  • Prepare and cook various food items according to the Company’s quality and cost requirements

  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Perform kitchen tasks according to kitchen task cycle and instructions from the outlet chef or respective supervisor

  • Complete mise en place when required

  • Maintain condition and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment


Requirements



  • No experience required, training will be provided - Perserverance in the pursuit of perfection a MUST

  • Available to work shifts and/or weekends

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment & still provide Consistent Quality every single time

  • Qualified applicants will have salaries comensurate w amount of Experience

4. Perfection in Confection-making


5. Perfection in Basic cooking - western style


6. Perfection in Espresso coffee extraction


7. Perfection in Hygiene and organistation


8. All aspects of Confections and pastry creation


9. Costings of Confections and pastries
