QUALITY ASSURANCE/ QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

Job Description


- To make a significant contribution towards assuring the overall quality and consistency of the Company’s products and services


- Perform Inspection for in-process and outgoing sub-parts and products.


- Perform QC inspection and testing of electronic/ electrical/ electromechanical parts and assemblies


- Co-ordinate with third party class ( ABS, DNV, CCS, NK, BV ) for Product , Design and Functional test approval.


- Develop Quality Procedures with respect to client specifications and standards.


- Prepare and compile inspection reports, non-conformance reports and other quality control.


- To prepare and update Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)


- To follow up with other team members to close outstanding issues related to class commends.


- Facilitate and monitor supplier's quality and product issues.


- Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) & co-ordinate external certification and surveillance audit to ascertain company’s compliance with the ISO Standards.


- Work closely with inter departments to meet customer requirements.


- Oversee and Maintain of record of equipment and necessary administrative work.


Job Requirements


- Diploma/ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or maritime related fields with one (3+) years of relevant full-time experience.


- Prior experience in the Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyards will be highly advantageous.


- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).


- A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA Codes and Standards Relating to Electrical and Instrumentation work.


- Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations


- Excellent verbal and written communication.


- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


- Responsible, Meticulous and able to work under pressure.


- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Description


1. Minimum 5 years water/waste water treatment plant maintenance experience


2. Capable to lead maintenance team for the routine and breakdown maintenance activity


3. Liaise with client for day to day activity


4. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report as per contact requirement


5. Capable for managing the site resources and site activities independently


6. Capable to cover for project manager absence for client interaction


7. Knowledge of Navision software is added advance or adopt to learn upon work commencement


8. Proactive to estimate and plan for manpower


9. Capable to prepare manpower planning for following working day, and upcoming work activities, and submit for project manager/ management approval


10. Proactive to Plan and preparing of routine maintenance, breakdown maintenance material and consumables for uninterrupted work activities


11. Preparing of Purchase Request for the client’s upon received the work order/ purchase order


12. Coordinating with project manager/ Purchase department to provide for technical assistance to accomplish the correct material purchasing


13. Coordinating and managing of vendor and subcontractor


14. Proficient to Prepare method statement, safe work procedure and risk assessment and submit for project manager and group safety officer approval


15. Follow up work order and purchase order with client


16. Follow up work order completion on time and submit report upon completion


17. Follow up purchase order delivery time line


18. Proactive to request service report and delivery order and submit upon work completion/ material delivered


19. Capable to create variable order and workout more effective way to minimise cost


20. Capable to monitor and maintain to avoid LD


21. Provide safety briefing and safety analysis to the subordinates and lead the team in profession to accomplish the maintenance/ replacement work


22. Identify the learning needs of his team and provide for the training and development of his team


23. Capable to control cost and adaptive for management of changes


24. Ensure to conduct tools box briefing before to commence daily maintenance/ replacement activities


25. Capable to prepare site material inventory and proactive to maintain minimum resources at all time


26. Capable to maintain PPE inventory and proactive to maintain minimum stock at all time


27. Maintain site record for issuance of uniforms, PPE, Ipad, gas meter, walkie talkie and others etc


28. Maintain record for all the tools and equipment for inspection and verification


29. Maintain site equipment calibration record and send for calibration to comply safety requirement


30. Ensure to maintain good house at work place, store room and office place all the time


31. Ensure to provide and maintain work profession at all time


32. Monitor and follow swab test schedule for entire subordinates


33. Maintain site team work permit , passport record for inspection and inform to project manager/ HR executive for renewal in advance


34. Plan for transportation in advance for worker movement/ material movement and avoid last minute request


35. Report project manager/ HSE manager/ client for any incident without delay for further action


36. Report to project manager/ HR manager for sending workers clinic/ hospital for medical assistance


37. Maintain work place safety at all time


38. Maintain zero safety incident at work place all time


Qualification

Service Engineer
NORDIC GROUP LIMITED

Job Description



  • Provide technical support to resolve technical inquiries from ships/vessels on Nordic Systems.

  • Attend on-board service attendances and commissioning services, annual inspection and maintenance for vessels based on troubleshoot of the technical issues and feedback by chief engineer/vessel managers.

  • Review service reports, customer technical specifications and provide support to sales team for bidding of spares.

  • Troubleshoot issues involving electrical/electronic control systems, PLC products.

  • Read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&ID's.

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of ITRs based on approved electrical completion procedures.

  • Prepare and update status of punch list and ensure all cleared punch items to be acknowledged by the client reps.

  • Monitor and manipulate site execution in line with sequence of works.

  • Handle technical issues, drawings, reports, procedures and any other relevant documents.

  • Develop engineering capabilities and work with sales team on project proposal and bidding.

  • Selection of equipment, materials for instrumentation and controls.

  • Execution of projects.

  • Plan and carry out E&I maintenances

  • Manage Subcon and other adhoc activities, lead the team of technicians on site to execute the project.


Job Requirements



  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
