Summary




Responsible for HR operations functions not limited to recruitment, on/offboarding training & development.




Job Description




Talent Acquisition:



  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process (including placement of job advertisements, interview arrangements, conduct reference checks

  • Prepare salary proposal for shortlisted candidate

  • Manage employee life-cycle, including on-boarding (pre-employment checks, employment contract, letter administration, staff orientation) and off-boarding process

  • Monitoring of employee’s confirmation, employee performance improvement plan and assist on yearly performance management review

  • Ensure personal records, leave records, documentation are updated accurately and promptly.


Training & Development:



  • Responsible for full cycle of training process such as sourcing for training courses, course registration, claims submission

  • Ensure ISO documents and training records are updated promptly.

  • Assist in MPA Internship Programme, Career Support Programme, Industrial Attachment Programme, etc.


HR Operations/ HRIS/ Administration:



  • Provide day-to-day HR operations support including work pass applications, employee data management

  • Responsible for HRIS systems including liaising with HRIS vendor and troubleshooting issues

  • Responsible for statutory paid leave claims process, NS make-up claims and all Government related claims

  • Manage and handle staff leave matters such as entitlement, balance, etc.

  • Preparation of staff certification letters, company letters for citizenship, bursary applications, etc.

  • Assist in Performance Management administration

  • Back up reception duties as and when required.


Other HR functions duties may be assigned from time to time.




Requirements



  • Diploma with at least 3 years of HR operations experience

  • Knowledgeable in Singapore Employment Legislation such as Employment, CPF and Income Tax Act

  • Preferably candidate with SAP and familiar with HRIS systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of responsibility to get things done

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be a team player with ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Candidate with payroll and taxation knowledge is an added advantage

Operations Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION


Responsible for providing operational support required for the fleet and assigned by being the main liaison between customers, vessels and technical superintendents. Required to be very familiar with ISM Code, ISPS Code and ISO requirements and assist in preparation of QHSSE audits/inspections


· Safety leader


· Responsible for monitoring daily reports from assigned vessels for review and follow up as necessary


· Support day to day operation requirement of vessel, such as. Appointing and working with agents for port clearance, arrange fuel and water replenishment, arrange port services such as garbage and waste disposal, ensure voyage planning, coordinating vessel movement between charterer and vessel, provide daily reports to respective stakeholders and other logistic and co-ordination activities.


· Attend to customer queries and request with regards to operation matters.


· Monitor utilization of vessel and document off-hire for verification and commercial purposes.


· Participate in tender exercise by providing operation data.


· Ensure fleet operations conform to company policies, procedures and respective rules and regulations applicable to area of operations.


· Ensure crew recruitment processes are adhere to, in particular the initial interview and verification for language proficiency.


· Document and monitor KPI of vessels’ in-field operations performance.


· Ensure shipboard records such as tow gear, stores and equipment / appliances inventory up to date.


· Monitor tow gear usage and plan replacement.


· Support commercial in bid tender and project work.


· Ensure trading documents are up to date.


· Monitor radio accounts and communication cost.


· Assist QHSSE in incident / accident investigation


· Prepare, monitor and control budget for vessels’ operations.


· Attend to 3rd party inspections, such as suitability, OVID, warranty, etc.


· Conduct shipboard audit (ISM, ISPS) and technical inspection (VTIA)


· Managing and maintaining company’s QHSSE policies and system onboard the vessels


· Preparation of inspections/audits related to QHSSE onboard vessels and in office


· Complying/maintaining documents of related to QHSSE department


· Monitor and review JSA, RA, PTW system


· Able to travel at short notice






KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED


· Previous seagoing experience‐ As Master with at least 5 years of experience in Supply, AHTS, DSV and/or Subsea operations preferred


· Minimum 2 years of ship management experience as Operations/QHSSE Superintendent, preferably in offshore industry.


· Diploma in Nautical Studies or equivalent qualification.


· Knowledge and experience of IMO flag state and classification societies’ requirements.


· Knowledge and experience of quality, safety and security management system.


· Experience in managing DP2 vessels will be preferred.


· Ability to communicate effectively with all different nationalities of all ranks Internal Auditor ISM/ ISPS

Role Description


This role will provide an opportunity for the IT Coordinator to gain technical knowledge and utilize the IT platform to demonstrate their IT skillset in the Marine environment. The position will also provide opportunity to learn the latest technology in office, helping in shore ICT work and Infrastructure support.




Specific Responsibilities



  • Provide day to day support of the organization's IT needs for shore and ship

  • Provide Application Management and implementation of inhouse ERP applications

  • Participate in the User Creation and Management process

  • Work with cross-functional teams to review and finetune system and processes to enhance operations so as to improve systems and procedures in the organization

  • Understanding of how a shipping company works and how IT is being utilised to support the business

  • Understanding Cyber Awareness and educate users on cyber security matters




Competencies



  • Able to respond to users' requests and provide appropriate solutions independantly

  • Develop a strong understanding on user experience and requirements to design appropriate processes

  • Get an oversight of the industry and manage applications control for ship based ERP applications

As an IT Executive, he/she will join the IT team and is expected to work independently. He/she is expected to have broad technical knowledge with strong expertise in a few technical areas. The appreciation and understanding of system process integration will be pivotal to having success in this role.


Job responsibilities:



  • Manage and provide technical support and resolve all IT infrastructure issues

  • Liaise with external vendors/suppliers and other IT personnel in solving problems and projects

  • Remotely assist and support other properties as and when required

  • Update, maintain and uphold company IT policy

  • Take ownership in all IT incident tickets raised
