7oaks is an education management consultancy incorporated by PPIS in the second quarter of 2016, specialising in the management of Early Childhood Education centres. Its expertise covers the full spectrum of running childcare centre operations, finance, human resource management, talent development and marketing, as well as setting up of turnkey centres.




7oaks is one of PPIS’ initiatives to support the organisation’s continuous growth while providing community-building services. Who You Are:




We are looking for a creative, sharp and motivated Content cum Social Media Specialist who is inspired to think out of the box. Together with the Asst. Marcomm Manager, you will promote our clients through a full spectrum of Content Marketing and Social Media Marketing disciplines.




In this role, you will create content and social media marketing assets to help build a community of parents with young children by creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain them, and ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.


This is the ideal position for an active blogger and/or influencer, who has worked on building a following on social media, is willing to learn and is a self-starter. Any prior experience is a plus.




Job Description:




We are looking for a social media whiz and content creator who wants to apply their skills to effect change.




As a Content and Social Media Specialist, you will repurpose the children images photographed at 7oaks Preschool and 7oaks Student Care centres, promote user-generated content, curate content that can inform, educate and excite our existing customers and anyone interested in preschool and student care. This content ranges from articles to social media posts to videos.




We take a holistic approach to marketing 7oaks Preschool and 7oaks Student Care brands. Our integrated digital marketing combines multiple channels such as content, email, display advertising and social media in order to promote a consistent message to our target audience. That being said, we designed our Social SEO process to generate quality leads, turn those leads into customers and those customers into brand advocates. You’ll engage in this process by working closely with other team members or agencies to execute timely lead-generating campaigns.




You should be a good writer, able editor and have strong aesthetic sensibilities. You should have some experience managing social media channels for consumer brands. Ideally, you also have some video production/editing experience.




To thrive here, you must be passionate about children, must have a keen interest in infants, preschoolers, school-age students (aged 7 to 14 years old), parenting, and everything that concerns them. You should be able to work independently but be an excellent collaborator. You should have great ideas and be extroverted enough to share them.




Responsibilities:




· Participate in the creation of social media strategies, including but not limited to these platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn


· Research on new audience interests and behaviour to develop relevant, localised, and engaging content plans for these platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn


· Work with the creative agency to create high quality and timely content that engages with a wide range of audience types


· Managing our social media calendar


· Managing the day-to-day publishing of social media content


· Track social media results in order to provide recommendations on channel improvements to increase followers


· Manage our social media channels, including interacting and engaging with our community


· Participate in creating content strategies for written and video content, including audience identification, topic identification, and recommended distribution channels


· Assist in managing our content calendar, including pitching ideas on a regular basis


· Produce assigned content pieces on time


· Assist in publishing content to the blog page in a website


· Track content engagement in order to provide recommendations on channel improvements to increase followers




Requirements:




· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications / Marketing / Journalism or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.


· 1-3 years of experience producing social media content


· Must have an excellent understanding of all major social media platforms and their audience


· Familiar with multi-channel social postings and industry best-practices


· Ability to write, edit and proof-read quality written content fit for specific social media platforms and their audiences


· Ability to edit/adapt existing online and offline content to make fit-for-purpose on social media platforms


· Ability to produce video content a plus


· Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and other analytics tools a plus

The OD Executive Officer supports the OD team and organisation in implementing effective organisational development strategies.
