Global Business Development Manager

The primary role of the Global Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for a newly formed oil and Gas supply base and Port. The person will have their own good Oil and Gas contacts, while being able to service all other industries they would use this port and supply base specifically around Vessel mobilisations, warehouse and storage. You will be located in Singapore head office but will be required to travel up to 60% of your time outside Singapore. He/she may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Accountant Finance Manager

Job Description & Requirements

Singapore qualified and accredited CPA accountant required for small to medium size office with head office in Australia and subsidiary offices in Malaysia and Indonesia. Company is expanding and needs to engage in a full time accountant/Finance manager. He/She ensures that the organisation's finance function is well organised as well as producing timely and accurate financial statements and management accounts, thus achieving compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.

Position reports directly to Singapore GM/Director and dotted line back to head office.

~ Prepare accurate and timely financial statement for Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

~ Prepare accurate monthly management of accounts (P&L, consolidated account, ledgers, balance sheet, and trial balance)

~ Knowledge in accounting software XERO and People Soft is an advantage

•Data entries, scanning and upload (Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Pay Run and fixed assets)

•Bank reconciliation

•Manual journal entries and allocations

•Petty cash

~ Manage accounts payable and receivables

~ Prepare and issue monthly Statement of Accounts (SOA)

~ Prepare, process, upload and review expense claims

~ Prepare and process payroll

~ Prepare and process Tax/ GST and work with third party tax agents in other countries

~ Prepare and submit monthly cash reconciliation and cash calls

~ Maintains multiple bank accounts

~ Collates corporate card receipts and statements

~ Filing and keeping of all electronic and manual data’s in line with Singapore law

~ Respond to auditors on audit data, variances and findings

~ Maintaining, creating and modifying the Chart of Accounts

~ Provide accurate and timely tax and financial reports to the relevant authorities (gst filing, ECI & Form C/C-S, annual return, IRA8, XBRL) ~ Coordinate Annual General Meeting (AGM)

~ Prepare and maintain Directors resolutions

~ May need to fulfil corporate secretary role for company

~ Salary ranges from $5k to $7k per month gross base on experience with annual bonus base on achievements
