Electrical & Automation Engineer

$4500 to $6000 (Monthly)

The client is a major global player in the nutritional/FMCG space.

Provide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electricity and Automation (E&A) professional and technical operational activities and during participation in CAPEX projects; doing so in line with corporate guidelines, enforcing that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised.


  • Participates in Capital Investments projects in the factory ensuring that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and in budget. Responsibilities include: the preparation of the user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.), the follow up of the solution development, the pre-test, implementation and training of operators and maintenance crews. Must fully understand the technical details of the MES-E&A solutions in all projects.

  • Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment and that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Participates in the implementation of engineering tools at site level (i.e. NSAT, NET, AMM, etc.), and in the M&I activities in the factory.

  • Ensures that all MES-E&A installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety and product quality standards.

  • Ensures that the key MES-E&A documentation is up to date and in place (i.e. SLD, URS, FDS, Calibration procedures, etc.).

  • Ensure that the Management of Change is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the MES-E&A solutions.

  • Ensure the application of the market and local MES-E&A related legislation (i.e. electrical, calibration, etc).

  • ​MES-E&A engineers play a key role in the continuous improvement of our factories through mastering the process and product characteristics. The MES-E&A engineer must have a deep insight of the processes, and continuously strive for the improvement of quality, safety or efficiency while protecting the technological know how and competitive advantage.


  • Degree in Electrical and/or Automation Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years Automation and/or MES engineer with Electrical experience

  • Personnel Supervision (of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties)

  • Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies in Electrical and Automation areas)

  • Participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s)

  • Self Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them

Plant Maintenance Engineer

The successful candidate is expected to support and participate in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.

  • Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.

  • Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies

  • Responsible for the effective utilization of Asset Maintenance Management (AMM) system

  • Provide input for annual maintenance budget and assist with the reporting and tracking of the maintenance budget

  • Analyse over/under spending in the area of responsibility and propose corrective actions

  • Support and participate in the competence building plan (CBP) for the maintenance team

  • Ensure that personnel managing, operating and maintaining industrial services plant and infrastructure are competent to do so by developing and maintaining competency assessment and building plans for the Industrial Services team.

  • Plans, performs and manages design, modification and improvements to industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure with internal teams and 3rd party vendors

  • Supports operation of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, quality and compliance.

  • Assists in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services and identifies and drives energy and water saving opportunities.

Project Engineer

The client is a global nutritional giant. The successful candidate will be involved in managing engineering projects for its plant in Singapore.

  • Support the End to End Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project.

  • Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on local regulations, the defined user requirements specifications (URS) and the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) characteristics of a unit operation

  • Ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the URS and the characteristics of a unit operation.

  • Ensure that safety is prioritized on all phases and elements of the project

  • Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities to ensure corporate standards are applied.

  • Support the start-up manager and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation.

  • A minimum of 2 years of aeronautical experience in the field of aviation maintenance including at least 12 months of practical experience in the specific component maintenance area/workshop and familiar with the procedures and products of the company.

  • Possess EASA Module 9 & 10 Certificate and Human Factors Training Certificate.

  • Possess the following CAAS required Certifications:

M10, L11, L12 or CO1 – Airworthiness Administration
