Your Role


As our QA/QC Engineer, you hold a crucial role in strengthening the quality standards of the organisation, through effective implementation of quality procedures, whilst ensuring customer’s quality concerns addressed are managed and resolved.




How you will make an impact


· Ensure quality manual and procedures are executed & adhered to by all departments


· Coordinate and report outstanding quality issues, specifications or process changes to Quality Manager


· Communicate with customers and stakeholders in areas of quality, non-conformance and compliance


· Ensure accuracy of quality reports documented


· Facilitate in-house training of quality procedures


· Promptly address quality concerns to stakeholders


· Ensure effectiveness of corrective actions (8D) for customer complaints


· Facilitate in both internal and external audits, report audit findings to QA Manager, and implement improvement plans


· Enrich & develop junior team members




Accomplishments


· Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience


· Preferably 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance &/ or Quality Control


· Well versed in quality engineering (PPAP, SPC, engineering drawing reading), advanced metrology, maintenance of quality certifications, product quality inspection requirements, calibration control, customer complaints & continuous improvement


· Experienced in CNC precision manufacturing sector


· Demonstrates resilience and drive excellence within the workplace


· Skilled in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint


· LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S & ISO 9001 experience advantageous

Process Engineer

Your calling:


· Lead and provide engineering support and solutions


· Oversees technical processes


· Prepare and generate Process Management Plan (PMP)


· Create Geometry and check machining simulation


· Carry out in process measurements, maintain product quality


· Maintain and improvise procedures and work instructions when necessary


· Generate and process engineering data


· Ensure equipment/machine is properly maintained and meeting uptime/OEE


· Produce actionable insights from data to improve production efficiency


· Responsible for product overall performance including yield and quality


· Initiate, lead, implement, drive yield, quality and productivity improvement project


· Investigate the process and defects related issues and identify opportunities for improvement


· Perform process and defect trouble-shooting


· Manage cost and time constraints of projects


· Work closely with QA/QC Engineer to monitor and improve process capability


· Review existing data and control in order to ensure it will meet the requirements


· Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior




Your success factors:


· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.


· At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in precision engineering is required for this position


· Able to read Engineering Drawing


· CAM or CAD Programme knowledge


· Strong in analytical skills


· Able to work independently with minimal supervision


· Able to work in cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary


· Candidates with relevant experience in metal fabrication, semi-con industry, Precision Engineering background will be an advantage

QC Inspector

Your Calling


· Perform regular quality assessment on all incoming materials from vendors, in-process fabrication as well as outgoing parts for shipping


· Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations


· Read mechanical drawings, plans and specifications to understand the requirements of product


· Measure product dimensions and compare final product to the specifications


· Operate the CMM Machine to do dimensional checks


· Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics e.g. number of defective products per day


· Monitor the use of measuring equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained


· Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner


· Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control


· Other ad-hoc responsibilities given




Your Success Factors


· Minimum 2 years of experience as quality inspector


· Minimum NTC certification in Precision/Mechanical Engineering or any other related fields


· Able to read mechanical drawings/blueprints


· Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques


· Great attention to detail
