  • Our group of F&B partners is looking for candidates who are interested in converting their career into a Chef in the growing F&B industry. No previous Chef experience required.


How it works



  • An interview will be scheduled for you with the participating company. Once you are selected by the company, you will be offered for a full-time position and will undergo 6 months structured Classroom and OJT training fully sponsored by the company. Upon completion, you will receive a Diploma and an opportunity to progress to supervisory or managerial* roles such as:

  • · Chef de Partie Asst Chef

  • · Lead Chef/Head Baker

  • · Sous Chef/ Pastry Chef or etc.


Job Description



  • Ensure and maintain all inventories are in order/sufficient.

  • Hot and Cold cooking

  • Assist Chef in overseeing daily operation

  • Gain knowledge of the company and make essential decision when necessary

  • Ensure the efficiency of kitchen operation is properly maintained

  • Responsible for planning weekly/monthly schedule of manpower

  • Liaise with superiors and top management when necessary

  • Perform effective problem-solving skills when necessary

  • Perform stock ordering and controlling in daily basis

  • Able to commit to SHRM Diploma training sponsored by employer within 6 months

  • High energy and a strong passion for delighting customers

  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team


Requirements

How it works

Job Description



  • Duties include Supervisor and Manager duties and may rotate task within Restaurant

  • Assist to create a good working environment and develop subordinates by identifying areas that need training and action to support it

  • Maintain a high level of customer service

  • Orientate and train employees so as to ensure that each individual has a complete understanding of the company’s policies by using the operations training manual

  • Ensure that daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed

  • Manage, assist and coordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method

  • Ensure that overall store image is maintained and the brand is well represented at all times

  • Monitor opening and closing duties of the outlet

  • Communicate daily and act as the liaison between operations staff and management

  • Ensure that POS system is operational and accurate at all times

  • Provide coordination and services for both kitchen and service

  • Adc duties if necessary


Requirements



  • Able to perform shifts, long hours and work on weekends and Public Holidays

  • NO F&B (Front of House) experiences

  • Motivated, result-oriented and a fast learner
