Analyst - Viral Clearance

Your Role:




As Analyst-Viral Clearance you will be part of our Process Solutions Services team that designs and delivers Viral Clearance validation studies for biopharmaceutical companies across the APAC region. In this role you will conduct routine tasks to support GLP/ GMP operations, perform cell culture and virus titration assays, and maintain the testing laboratories and equipment in the validated state. You will carry out client studies with appropriate regulatory compliance under the oversight of the Study Director. You will also train on routine client activities including virus spiking, sample preparation and viral inactivation operations. The Analyst will work closely with the scientists and laboratory personnel to execute client studies on time and right first time.



  • Works within the Viral Clearance laboratories following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and relevant compliance regulations

  • Performs cell culture and virus titration assays to ensure routine studies are completed on time

  • Accurately and promptly records data to meet appropriate scientific and GLP/GMP regulatory standards

  • Supports client activities including virus spiking, sample preparation, manipulation and virus inactivation as required

  • Performs routine peer review of raw data records as required

  • Carries out housekeeping, maintains reagent stock in the laboratory and order consumables through i-procurement

  • Performs environmental and personnel monitoring activities as required

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cell culture and/or virology

  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) would be advantageous

What You Do:



  • Work with Account Managers and Business development to ensure signed proposals are received according. Ensure projects are conducted within the scope and conditions of the signed Proposal and Quality Service Agreement.

  • Demonstrates adherence to global PMO practices and templates. Conducts Project Kick-off Meetings with client and internal stakeholders according to the project schedule. This is to ensure the project is on schedule, task deliverables are being met, and changes in the project are being managed.

  • Ensures clients are on-boarded to iNet. Responsible for adhering to the iNet compliance and security SOP.

  • Monitors and ensures materials required for the project are shipped out by clients and received at TAR in a timeline manner. Support clients on specific permit requirements for shipping samples (where appropriate).

  • Effective Hold Management knowledge and expertise (e.g., Resolution of pending purchase orders, closing information gaps, client requests and TAR discrepancies).

  • Responsible for Test Article Receipt (TAR) discrepancy management (i.e. mismatch between submission documents and Test Article received), relevant LIMS field completion, as well as client requirement verification.

  • Monitors scope creep and work with AM/BD to ensure additional service agreements are issued where applicable.

  • Maintain a project repository for each designated account so that everyone involved in the project can be aware of milestones and background information.


Who You Are:



  • Master/Degree in Life Sciences discipline, or equivalent desirable

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Project Management, ideally managing scientific projects.

  • Experience in Project Management, in particular running scientific projects would be ideal; Experience in Quality Management or PM in clinical trials can be considered.

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical firms can alternatively be considered and evaluated for job fit

The Validation Engineer is a subject matter expert in equipment validation and computer system validation and oversees and/or executes validation projects in their area(s) of expertise at our Singapore site. Brief role description:



  • Defines, plans and manages validation projects while meeting applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Ensures the timely delivery of validation deliverables to allow for validation peer review and QA approval to be completed within the project schedule.

Who You Are:



  • Master/Degree in Life Sciences discipline, or equivalent desirable

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, ideally managing scientific projects.

  • Experience in Project Management, in particular running scientific projects would be ideal; Experience in Quality Management or PM in clinical trials can be considered.

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical firms can alternatively be considered and evaluated for job fit

  • Strong ability to interface at all levels within an Organization for both internal and external Customers

  • Ability to exercise good judgment in projects/programs that are fast-paced and dynamic

  • Experience in hosting multi-site conference calls across continents.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills

  • Good information management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft PowerPoint is preferable

Digital Lab Sales Consultant

The Company has started the Connected Lab initiative to coordinate and advance digital capabilities and offerings (incl. hardware, software, consumable and service components), which will enable our customers to realize efficiencies and mitigate risk in their laboratories and organizations. In this new organization an international team of digital lab sales consultants will be required to engage our life science customers to help them digitally optimize their businesses by helping them connect strategic priorities to current laboratory workflow challenges, and develop a lab digital transformation roadmap incorporating the Company’s product and service portfolio.




The Role: The Digital Lab Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing and managing a lead pipeline, supporting customers through their buying journeys of the Company’s digital lab products (Lanexo TM & BSSNTM Software), managing the post sales relationship, and supporting further future digital transformation strategies.


The key tasks for this role will be:



  • Account-based Demand Generation: Develop and deliver account-based marketing programs via our marketing and marketing technology teams, which will engage our customers key buying an influencing persona associated to the purchase of digital lab products and services

  • Event-based Demand Generation: Develop and deliver event-based marketing programs via our marketing and marketing technology teams, which will engage our customers key buying an influencing persona associated to the purchase of digital lab products and services

  • Nurturing Leads: Support our marketing and marketing technology teams to develop and deliver nurturing content and workflows to engage key buying an influencing persona associated to the purchase of digital lab products and services, and deliver engaged marketing qualified leads with a high potential to buy

  • Realizing Opportunities: Help customers recognize/qualify current risk/cost profile via discovery calls, presentations, demonstrations and proof of concept programs and help them explore and understand the potential of The Company’s digital lab products and services to realize efficiencies and mitigate risk

  • Customer Enablement: Support customers with system delivery, configuration, installation, and on-site launch activities of the Company’s digital lab products and services

  • Relationship Management: Provide post-sales support to customers, regular reviews and identify opportunities for system expansions of the Company’s digital lab products and services to help realize further efficiencies


Job Requirements:



  • Education: At least a Degree, specialized in a Scientific discipline or Informatics, or equivalent

  • Experience: Global strategic account management experience and/or experience of selling complex digital solutions to multiple stakeholders within the life science industry

  • Motivation: Entrepreneurial minded, self-starter with a willingness to build their own business

  • Communication: Collaborative personality who is willing and able to work with a diverse set of internal and customer stakeholders

  • Travel: This is a field-based role with will require 40-60% travel to customer and company sites

Your Role


As Logistic Specialist (Support Services and Biorepository), you are primarily responsible for ensuring the facility is fully supported for qualifying suppliers, procurement of materials, in the planning and design of inventory and store, in accordance with GLP/GMP procedures and general administration. When the facility moves to a business as usual state, this position will be responsible for ensuring test article receipt, inventory management and general administrative support to ensure that the facility remain fully functional. You will receive materials for storage and issue of inventory that involves physical handling of inventory, as well maintaining accurate system records for all transactions made to and from the department.




You will also be responsible for control and maintenance of the Asia Pacific Biorepository function.  Role covers entire process flow from contact set-up with commercial team, management of on-site storage, through to shipment of client material.




Inventory Management & Test Article Receipt



  • Receive, check and process materials on a daily basis in line with appropriate quality procedures.

  • Store inventory to agreed quality/regulatory compliance (e.g. segregation, temperature control), and ensure traceability through maintenance of accurate system transactions, using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

  • Ensure the timely provision of materials using Electronic Requisition (eREQ) issue or through manual requisitions of appropriate stock levels.

  • Carry out Equipment monitoring/maintenance where under the specific responsibility of Support Services.

  • Perform inter-site shipment of material via internal transportation or courier.

  • Support improvement initiatives as agreed with line management to streamline processes, make cost savings and reduce waste.

  • Maintain all records and archive as appropriate following the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Support the department with preparation for Client/Regulator Audits.

  • Perform cycle counts in line with Cycle Count Programme.

  • Perform required equipment cleans and offers Test Article Receipt (TAR) Verification support.

  • Ensure registration of all suppliers in approved supplier list

  • Raise purchase request and necessary follow up for material receipt and payment

  • Run monthly Matrix report, eDiscrepancy report, trend analysis and follow up actions

  • Handle events investigations & CAPA for designated area (TAR & Biorepository)

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Biorepository



  • Coordinate facilities, equipment support and validation teams to ensure that the Biorepository is aligned to appropriate levels of facility control (security, access and monitoring).

  • Ensure inter-site and external shipments are controlled in line with BioReliance Quality Management System, and client Quality Agreements.

  • Participate in commercial meetings alongside Sales and/or Project Management (e.g. technical reviews, client visits or conference calls).

  • Lead client, regulatory and internal Biorepository audit activity (e.g. overview presentations, laboratory tours, process/documentation and controls review, QMS record ownership).

  • Maintain full system traceability for Biorepository material through inventory management (receipts, storage, location transfer, shipment).

  • Provide monthly revenue forecasts through order analysis, sales funnel and effective communication across internal stakeholders (i.e. Sales/PM).

  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators as agreed with line manager (e.g. revenue forecast, contract renewal status, quality/service metrics)

  • Provide appropriate quality documentation/electronic records to ensure Biorepository activity is operated in line with BioReliance Quality systems/regulatory compliance (SOP/Change Control).

  • Establish review meetings and communication channels to drive both establishment of Biorepository and effective on-going operation.

  • Lead or support improvement initiatives as agreed by line management with a view to streamlining processes, making cost savings or reducing waste.


Who You Are:



  • Degree/Diploma in any technical (Science/Engineering) discipline.

  • 4-5 years of previous facilities/support services and administrative experience in biological laboratory or production environment.

  • Experience of working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable

  • Previous experience working in a stores environment would be advantageous but not an essential.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Excellent problem solving, customer service and planning skills.

  • ERP experience is an asset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).

  • Adheres to applicable safety SOPs and follows applicable safe work practices

  • In-depth knowledge of all maintenance functions (e.g. procurement, inventory planning, GLP, etc.).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable codes and enforcement standards, including SOP’s, systems history and change control.
