Unleash The Roar! is about building the Singapore football ecosystem that will serve to inspire and unite the nation. Co-led by SportSG and the Football Association of Singapore, it is about the journey that will establish football as a sport with high participation, high performance regionally and internationally, and an economically viable professional career. This division involves the successful creation and implementation of strategies that will develop the local football ecosystem, creating the necessary conditions and environment to build the pathways towards National Teams.




Responsibilities


The implementation of Unleash The Roar! (UTR!) focuses on eight pillars to set the conditions and pathway to achieve the desired outcomes of the project and the establishment of School Football Academies is one pillar. You will be part of the Football division that implements the School Football Academy programme to schools in Singapore with the aim of producing a cohort of thriving student-athlete footballers every year with holistic development and a solid foundation of physical, technical, mental and tactical skills, each of whom is primed to maximize his/her individual potential.




In this role, you will;



  • Lead and mentor a team of coaches assigned within the School Football Academy programme

  • Deliver an elite level School Football Academy program to an assigned school under the Unleash the Roar! project.

  • Implement the football program, incorporate the National Football Curriculum and Football Philosophy as well as develop the student-athletes in character and leadership in their school.

  • Fostering a positive high- performance environment that allows talented student-athletes to reach their full potential.




Requirements



  • Min Asian Football Confederation (AFC) A licence (or equivalent) preferred

  • 5 years experience in elite youth coaching preferred

  • Worked in a high performance football environment preferred

  • Experience in leading a team of more than 3 staff members preferred

  • Understands Long-Term Athlete Development principles

  • High level of communication skills (written & spoken)

  • Good command of English (written & spoken)

  • Presentation and computer skills

  • Good team player who can work on own initiative

  • Knowledge and understanding of the UTR Plan process

  • Valid National Registry of Coaches (NROC) membership preferred

  • Keen understanding of the importance of a Daily Training Environment in the development of student-athletes

  • Be responsible for the administration and management of the assigned School Football Academies (SFA) within the zone and ensure the direction of the SFAs meet the expectation of all stakeholders

  • Foster a culture of excellence and high performance that allows talented student-athletes and coaches to reach their full potential.

  • Oversee the delivery of an elite level School Football Academy program across multiple schools within their designated zone under the Unleash the Roar! project.

  • Provide support and guidance to all SFA coaches in implementing the National Football Curriculum and Coaching Philosophy within the zone.

  • Work with primary schools within the zone to promote the SFA programme.




Requirements



  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in sports business/management or related role preferred

  • Experience in working in an elite sporting environment preferred

  • Experience in working in a high performing business environment preferred

  • Good planning and organisational skills

  • A good team player and highly adaptable to changes

  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English and at least another language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications

  • Assist players through their career with their individual development needs by providing frequent video and analytical reports on performance and progress

  • Assist coaches to identify significant trends and areas for improvement of individual players and teams




Requirements



  • Min Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C licence or equivalent

  • Worked in a high football environment/high performance environment for min 1 year preferred

  • Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software’s, such as Hudl, Sportcode, Wyscout, Dartfish or other similar software.

  • Good command of English (written & spoken)

Responsibilities

You will be part of the team to;

Administer ING processes
• Understand the intent, design, and process of the ING;
• Manage, shortlist and evaluate applications and administer successful ones;
• Administer evaluation panel and record recommendations;
• Prepare updates to senior management; and
• Maintain SOP and grant application documentation.

Manage Awarded Applications
• Track and monitor new awards to ensure grant recipients receive funds and submit reports and relevant documents (such as statement of accounts) on time; and
• Manage existing grant contracts with awarded applicants to ensure grant recipients receive funds and submit reports and relevant documents (such as statement of accounts) on time.

Account Management (existing + new)
• Liaise, communicate and address queries from interested parties, grant applicants and award recipients ; and
• Manage award recipients to ensure successful grant management and a positive experience.

 

Requirements

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle.

In addition, you should possess the following:
•Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office tools.

  • Assist in managing and administering DCG

  • Manage stakeholders to ensure successful grant management and positive experience for grant applicants

  • Liaise and communicate with grant applicants and recipients on their applications, statement of accounts (SOA), reports, etc.

  • Track and monitor applications to ensure grant recipients meet criteria and submit timely reports and SOAs.

  • Maintain SOP and grant application documentation
