PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Program Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and processing of all incoming program content and associated assets, in line with all channel objectives across SEA region, and providing information and support to key Content Sales and Distribution teams.



Collaborating closely with Internal and External parties, the Program Operations Manager must work to ensure content delivery to fixed deadlines and manage functions including input of program data and rights information in the Broadcast Management System, dissemination of requirements and managing deadlines for compliance, localization and delivery of media.



The Manager must ensure all program operations functions work smoothly and efficiently while innovating to adapt to changing business needs.





JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCALISATION - 35%



  • Based on schedule and other channel parameters, manage operational workflow, including providing timely requests for compliance and localization, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Work with localisation team and vendors to deliver best in class dubbing, subtitling and metadata translation for all linear GE and non-linear services, meeting technical and creative specifications.

  • Responsible for local vendor negotiations, raising localisation purchase orders, processing invoices and monitoring localisation budgets to meet strategic and creative goals ensuring best market rates.

  • Work with global WarnerMedia teams and affiliates to fulfil localisation requirements


MATERIAL DELIVERIES - 15%



  • Effectively plan and prioritize requests to Program Licensors and Turner International teams for all content, its associated metadata and assets, per acquisition, Monthly Program Schedules and Yearly Programming calendars.

  • Negotiate and liaise with distributors regarding delivery schedules, format and quality, cost and available assets.

  • Provide support to departments such as Marketing, Creative Services and Content Sales through sourcing of materials and assets and effectively tracking and communicating availability and appropriate usage of such materials.


DATA MANAGEMENT - 20%



  • Create and maintain program records within the Data Management System.

  • Ensure appropriate creation of media versions in the MAM and Broadcast Management Systems

  • Maintain accurate inventory of materials and assets.

  • Keep track of costs associated with the operations process, such as materials, compliance and localization.


COMMUNICATIONS - 10%



  • Collaboration & liaison with local and regional Internal Departments, external Vendors and Distributors /Licensors & Responsible for program assets – materials and metadata for all GE content


INNOVATION - 10%



  • Work closely with local and international teams to develop, test and implement workflows and systems to manage new business needs as required.

  • Explore and implement methods of improving and streamlining existing systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential



  • Degree or equivalent experience in in TV / Communication / Technology

  • Years of experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations – media management, tracking materials and dealing with third parties etc., and minimum of 2 years of management experience and leading a team

  • Experience in managing content localization, both subtitling and dubbing

  • General knowledge of the technical requirements for broadcast media

  • Ability to manage projects, solve logistical problems and deliver on time

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team

  • Fluent in English – both verbal and written

  • High level of communication & organizational skills, plus strong eye for details

Assistant Manager, Content Operations

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Assistant Manager, Client Services – Operations is responsible for overseeing the delivery of content, assets and metadata to internal partners and external clients ranging from local to global businesses.



Working closely with WM Sales and Distribution teams, Programming Teams, Content Operations teams, Technical Operations teams, Direct to Consumer teams, other internal stakeholders, and vendors, the Assistant Manager will provide support and advice on content availability, negotiate and collate delivery schedules, manage and closely track fulfilment of contractual obligations and / or service requirements, and any associated costs.



The Assistant Manager must ensure all client servicing functions operate smoothly and efficiently while innovating to adapt to changing business needs and maintaining clear and timely communications with all parties.






JOB DESCRIPTION

Inventory Management - 30%



  • Work with global and local teams to produce, update and maintain detailed content and asset inventories.

  • Provide research into inventories and asset repositories to provide feedback on asset availability based on requests from various internal teams.

  • Manage brand assets inventory and materials.

  • Work closely with Acquisition, Programming and Legal teams to ensure the necessary rights, branding and / or windows are in place for deal fulfillment and provide feedback accordingly


Material Deliveries - 40%



  • Work closely with Content Operations and TQC teams to design and implement appropriate workflows according to different deal requirements, volumes, timelines, costs and other parameters.

  • Liaise with the necessary parties to negotiate and build content and asset processing and delivery schedules and carefully track progress through to delivery.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of brand and client requirements, including technical specifications, according to the needs of all deals and ensure these are communicated and fulfilled.

  • When necessary, work with vendors or Content Operations team to outsource processing and delivery according to timelines and specifications.

  • Issue vendor POs, manage invoices and track budgets.


Communication - 20%

Senior Director, Franchise Management

Purpose


A. The Sr. Director, Franchise management will be responsible for regional companywide (and across business lines) initiatives around the key franchises and IP of Warnermedia.


B. The Business lines the candidate will work closely with – WM Theatrical, TV distribution & Home entertainment, Network – Linear and SVOD, Licensing - Consumer Products.


C. The candidate will work closely with the VP – Group Marketing on a franchise management strategy, be the key resource for all the business leads and work closely with the other marketing functions such as brand, digital & social, partner marketing as well as local teams.




Job Functions


A. Strategy and Implementation


a. Align with global franchise development teams on the franchise fly wheel, develop concurrent (24-30 month) view for INSEAK region as well as a 12 - 15 month executional calendar in partnership with global and regional teams.


b. To develop an integrated cross – company approach - with each Line of Business (LOB) - theatrical, TV Dist & home video, network, licensing & consumer products on their milestones and areas of opportunity.


c. Be the leader on executing cross company priorities – collaborate with the different functions and LOBs to drive success for such initiatives.


d. To work closely with the different Functions head of business – Content, Creative, strategy on their key priorities for the year and integrate into the franchise planning and execution.


e. Identify key markets by Line of Business (LOB) and develop calendar of opportunities to align with their targets.
