Marketing Operations Analyst
UNITED PARCEL SERVICE SINGAPORE PTE LTD

The Marketing Operations Analyst assists in managing all aspects of growth and communication projects and initiative to support district strategy. He/She performs internal and external market intelligence collection through established networks and providers. This position also produces standard and ad hoc research reports for consumption of internal stakeholders. This position directly reports to Marketing Operations Supervisor.




Job Responsibilities:




Competitive and Market Intelligence



  • Monitor and analyze competitors' movement in the markets

  • Compile relevant data and reports to share with stakeholders

  • Participate in user acceptance tests (UATs) to ensure usability of technology tools

  • Coordinate internally to perform regular maintenance of services and product

  • Provide administrative support to the team


Assists in Driving Small Business and CRM Projects



  • Helps develop design documents to define project scope and identify stakeholders

  • Designs and implements communication plans to ensure all parties are informed and updated

  • Follows-up with assigned resources continuously manage the productivity of the team, project timelines and deliverables


Communicates and Shares Information



  • Gains access to in-house reporting tools to facilitate the generation of reports

  • Distributes reports to stakeholders to educate and inform

  • Liaises with District and Region teams on PR and communications initiatives

  • Helps prepare internal and external customer communication




Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Intl Equivalent

  • Excellence in oral and written communication skill

  • Preferably with 1 year experience in marketing role

  • Hands-on knowledge in Microsoft including MS Power point, MS Excel, MS Access preferably

  • Meticulous with strong attention to details, demonstrate good numerate skills, matured thinking, dependable and requires minimum supervision

Job Duties


This position supports North & South Asia District Freight Forwarding Operations Director in managing SCS operations in countries to achieve both financial and operational goals.




Freight Operating Process and Procedure Development



  • Assists in improving operations by ensuring operational processes are standardized and initiative execution are aligned across countries

  • Assists in gateway and operational support measurements to monitor and improve processes and business results

  • Assists in establishing and monitoring the Key Performance Indicators (including business results tracking, productivity, cost management) to ensure improvement of KPI’s.

  • Assists in pre-audit preparation and self-assessment to ensure countries work according to standard and comply way.

  • Make recommendations for changes to resolve supply chain or operational issues


Documentation and Reporting



  • Assists in the generation and distribution of performance reports to concerned parties to ensure performance awareness and improvement.

  • Produces statistical and analytical reports for management to determine lane activity and growth opportunities

  • Conducts data analysis to identify issues and action plans for continuous improvement


FM Cost monitoring

Job Requirements:-

  • 2 years of relevant working experience in Logistic / Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain industry

  • Knowledgeable on freight forwarding operations processes, procedures, and technology to ensure efficient movement of shipments through intermodal transportation (e.g., air, ocean, rail and ground).

The Customs Brokerage Analyst supports the District and Region initiatives for UPS Brokerage. He/she supports initiatives by analyzing the service KPIs reports and working with the country brokerage team to find the root cause and develop corrective action plans. He/she will work with the country to identify and report regulatory changes in order to maintain compliance in our daily brokerage processes.




Roles & Responsibilities:


Supports Service and Compliance Initiatives



  • Works with Brokerage management, Brokerage Operations sites, and other functions as needed

  • Monitors service and compliance-related metrics to ensure Brokerage Operations processes and procedures are effective, compliant, and address identified deficiencies.

  • Reviews audit results to identify root causes for deficiencies and recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with customs and other government agency regulations.

  • Work with country to review and report regulatory changes.

  • Reviews documented processes and procedures to ensure compliance of Brokerage Operations with new regulatory changes.


Monthly Reporting



  • Prepare and present review decks for weekly and monthly reviews.


Administrative Tasks



  • Provide administrative and logistical support in the daily routines of the department where necessary.

  • Perform any other departmental tasks as and when allocated.




Job Requirements:



  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related fields

  • Possess 1-3 years of work experience in relevant field (customs brokerage, regulatory, logistics)

  • Demonstrate effective presentation and communication skills in English

  • Display attention to details; agile and able to adapt to a multicultural work environment

  • Possessing a Customs Broker license is a great plus.
