Ensure quality and HSE issues are competently managed

Maintenance Technician - US manufacturing MNC
Salary: $4000 max
Rotational shifts: Morning shift 8.30am - 5.30pm or Night shift 8.30pm - 5.30am (Mon-Fri)
Location: Senoko (Tpt provided from Woodlands & Admiralty MRT)
Responsible for all maintenance activities in Singapore office, laboratories, plant, machinery and factory building.
Carry out preventive maintenance of food processing equipment, plant facilities and perform urgent repairs on broken-down production equipments.
Perform other related and relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned when required. Trouble-shooting and rectifying problems of the machines and equipment on a daily basis.
Expected to perform hands-on mechanical repair work such as welding, piping, jig/fixture fabrications, handyman work, servicing of pumps, rotating machinery and pneumatic/hydraulic controls.
Supervise the contractor for installation and upgrading of equipments.
Propose recommendation for upgrading of production equipments to improve efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
Co-ordinate with the contractor for regular servicing of certain production equipments without interruption to production efficiency.
Responsible for spare parts control, including recommendation on parts and contractors.
Responsible for following the safe working practices and Guidelines on Food Safety Program as well.

Receive balance stocks from Sales Reps at Day End, ensuring that the actual quantities tally with Sales Reps' stock reconciliation report.
Receive delivery of stocks from external contract warehouse and stack/store them in a proper manner, practising FIFO inventory management.
Perform housekeeping duties related to the maintenance of the warehouse to ensure a clean and conducive environment for storage.
Assist in the organisation of market returns, manufacturing fault stocks, and stock destruction.

Process purchase orders and update files as needed to record purchases made.
To monitor and maintain inventory, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory stocked.
Ensure that purchased orders are delivered by coordinating with lab staff.
Negotiate new contracts with existing and new vendors and suppliers.
Source for new vendors and establish working relationships with them and also maintain existing vendor and supplier relationships.
Assist Manager in vendor evaluation.

Reconcile vendor statements, and correct discrepancies
