In addition, we have secured many project references with long term maintenance collaboration with esteem government entities such as Land Transport Authority, People Association, Ministry of Education, National Technological University, National Parks Board, PSA Singapore and Tanah Merah Prison. Since 2007, XJ Elevator Pte Ltd had established overseas agencies partnership exporting lifts and escalators to countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Bahrain and U.A.E; Dubai. In the same year, the first few elevators were shipped to Indonesia and Philippines. 2006: Secures Exclusive distributive rights to South East Asia, India and Middle East. XJ opens up the market for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Thailand and Malaysia. XJ also secured and delivered its maiden batch of elevators to HDB pilot projects located in Marsiling using metal shaft structure due to the sand ban and shortage problems. 2007: The first HDB lift was commissioned at Jurong East Block 235, with Ms Grace Fu (Minister in PMO) gracing the event. XJ secures its supply of elevator to HDB 8th Term project at about $30 million (600+lifts) for various locations island wide. 2008: XJ started to supply to Batam Indonesia. In the same year, we landed a job with SingTel for A&A works. 2009: XJ started its in-house installation team with 20 men. XJ was granted L3 status from BCA. Deliver its first elevator to Republic of India. 2010: Awarded Certificate of Achievement on bizSAFE Enterprise Level 3 by Workplace Safety and Health Council. Completion of the HDB 8th Term supply of lifts. 2011: Book Orders for local project exceeds $5 million mark. Awarded the first project with LTA for the iconic Pedestrian Overhead Bridge linking across Botanic Gardens and Adam Road. Delivered its first batch of elevators to the Kingdom of Bahrain. 2012: Awarded SME1000 Company by DP Group & Promising SME500. Delivered and commissioned its first lift in Myanmar. 2014: Schindler Lifts Singapore Pte Ltd acquired 51% of XJ Elevator Pte Ltd. Project Manager

$3500 to $4000 (Monthly)


· Knowledge of project requirements and contract requirements

· Able to match all contract requirements to order lift equipment.

· Able to communicate in Chinese/ local dialects is a advantage

· Able to manage projects/ claims / sub contracts

· Meticulous and responsible

· Basic tertiary education

· Able to work as in teams

· Basic knowledge in Microsoft office and computer knowledge

· To able to work odd hours

· Safety knowledge & awareness

Below spells out the duties and responsibities :

1. Project Management (Site)

Attend and follow strictly to project’s builder’s program.

Monitor progress of construction and plan schedule for installation

Oversee sub contractors' work at site; ensure contractors fulfil their work in timely manner without defects.

Ensures that the safety procedures pertaining to construction activities are adhered to. PM will have the discretionary authority to issue any safety fines to sub-con when deemed necessary.

Includes problem solving at site for each technical/ short shippment problem encountered

Gather the on site information and relate to factory, collate and resolve all issues at site.

Make a recommendation to the reporting manager for closure of problem.

In the event where the problem requires components from the factory,

You shall indent the necessary equipment from factory

Coordinate the time required for delivery.

Monitor and update the delivery status.

2. Project Documentation

Upkeep and maintain project documents containing the following:

Contract details

Contract drawings

Shop drawing submission,

Meeting mintues

Correspondences, all emails

Approved shop drawings

Any required insurances in place before starting work

Input SFO

Be competent in filling up all the SFO, matching the project requirements, drawings into SFO for production of the LIFT.

Ensure all CAR doors/landings door sizes to match those of production or 3rd party purchased doors. Ceilings are usually 200mm higher then the landing doors, but for some CARGO lifts, there is no additional clearance required.

Take note of NON-STANDARD or additional requirements called for under the contract such as CCTV or Access card

3. Other Project Duties

a) progress claims

Manage and highlight to management if claims are approved.

b) plumbing on site/ erection of scaffold

c) Submit RA

d) measurement of structural openings

e) preparing program planning

f) coordination between Subcontractors

g) coordination of Installation & Testing team

h) coordination of Interior finishing

i) planning of logistics

Coordination between freight forwarder and site personel

Arrange for installers to be onsite for taking over and arranging the material.

Handing Over Forms.

Maintain records of all Shaft taking over/ handing over with main con with dates/ signatures.

This is to be filed by dates.


- Bizsafe certification

- Establish work process and implement new innovative methods to improve efficiency.

- Any other job description that is mutually agreed by employee and company.

• Responsible for assisting the Project Manager in implementing & enforcing safety & health requirements on site

• Check & ensure that all necessary plant, tools & equipments are safe to use;

• Ensure that all sub-contractors provide & maintain safe access in all places of work;

• Ensure that all sub-contractors maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in their work area;

• Assist in investigating & reporting on accident & dangerous occurrences and prevention of recurrence.;

• Ensure that all sub-contractors strictly enforce on use of all necessary protective clothing & safety equipment at all times by workers

• Attend safety committee meeting & any other meeting required for the purpose of accident prevention;

• Ensure that all sub-contractors deploy workers who are trained for & capable of carrying out their duties correctly and safely;

• Ensure that all necessary protective clothing and safety equipment is readily available and that contractors provide workers with necessary PPE;

• Set the example for all worker to follow at all times;

• Carry out daily toolbox briefing to own workers on safety & health issues;.

• Observe strictly to the safety & health advise of the safety & health personnel

Job description

  • Develop and maintain good relationship with current and new customers and ensure high level of client satisfaction

  • Prepare, and convert all lifts / escalators under Free –Service (Defects liability Period) to be maintained under XJ Elevator Pte Ltd

  • Attend to sales activities from quotation to sales order processing, order confirmation and providing technical support

  • Act as a focal point for all sales, technical and administrative customer support issues

  • Source and place order for equipment to meet customer requirements

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery date

  • Organizes/ summarizes weekly backorder and sales analysis reports, maintenance of customer database

  • Formulate and implement effective sales and marketing strategies, solicit new accounts and maintain existing accounts

  • Prepare tender submissions

  • Ensure compliance of both legislative and company policies when bidding for tenders and during the contract processes

  • Ensure that deals are closed properly and the handover to the project team is done in a proper manner

  • Maintain and develop product and industry knowledge

  • Maintain proper filing and document control

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years in the Elevator/Escalator industry

  • 5 years of senior sales experience

  • Must be able to travel
