Job Description:



  • Source for vendor and quotations, recommend alternatives solutions or products to meet customer’s requirement, negotiate and perform cost versus quality analysis

  • Involve in negotiations, evaluating quotations/tender submissions, and preparing PR & PO.

  • Perform daily operational purchasing matters and coordinate shipping documentation, logistics and schedules.

  • Maintain good relationship with vendors and develop new network

  • Liaise with vendors on quality issues or any discrepancies

  • Liaise with stakeholders, arranges and conducts meetings with vendors.

  • Managing contracts and vendors to ensure the fulfilment of all purchases, deliverables and service

  • levels.

  • Monitor contracts/agreements renewal period, variation orders & vendor management.

  • Ensure product specifications are received/updated and passed down to the respective departments

  • Review stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock level is maintained

  • Co-ordinate with internal departments/vendors/logistic to track deliveries and verify on quantity & quality of received items

  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of department


Job Requirement:.



  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field

  • With 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in relevant field, preferably in food services industry

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Strong communication & negotiation skill, ability to work under tight deadlines

Logistics Supervisor
YONG WEN FOOD (S) PTE. LTD.

$2500 to $4000 (Monthly)

Job Responsibilities:



  • Oversees daily operation in logistics

  • Supervise and lead a team of drivers, attendants and pickers

  • Constantly train drivers to provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers and effectively handling customer complaints;

  • Segregating morning and afternoon delivery;

  • Delegating respective driver to their respective routes;

  • Arranging delivery routes to achieve optimal delivery;

  • To ensure all operational vehicles in good condition for that day activities

  • Updating on vehicles maintenances chart as well as vehicle servicing and accordance to ISO requirements

  • To trouble shoot complicated matters on logistics/deliveries problems.

  • Conducting briefing related on logistics/deliveries matters.

  • To observe & work along with all divisions team leaders.

  • Keep track of vehicles daily or monthly (which ever come first) maintenance, ISO records on internal & external cleaning;

  • Drivers cleanliness & attitude; Handling drivers well – being & conduct

  • Ensure all short supply, no supply, resupply, unfulfilled deliveries and exchange item procedure been conducted according and align with policy;

  • Ensure invoices processed by Customer Service to be timely passed out to picker side

  • All other adhoc duties as assigned.




Requirements:



  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Able to lead and take complete charge of operations

  • Able to work along side and provide the necessary support to Management team

  • Computer literate

  • Willing to work in west area
