Warehouse Assistant (Immediate Start)

Role and Responsibilities:

Incoming Goods

·Offload trucks with forklift

·Check received items against packing list and advise weights

·Check the initial weight upon arrival at the warehouse

·Record the initial weight into the Initial weight report and send a copy to Office

·Label the bags or drums accordingly

·Completes reports by entering correct and accurate required information

Outgoing Shipments

·Load trucks with forklift

·Complete shipments by processing and loading the orders

·Prepares orders 2 days in advance for shipments

·Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing and placing order in delivery area

·Completes reports by entering correct and accurate required information

Others

·Sorting of materials

·Maintains machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs

·Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests

·Maintains quality service by following organisation standards

·Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area, complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

·Assist with logistics organisation

·Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related as needed

·Accurate reconciliation of paperwork before submitting to Office

·Ensure all reports to be submitted by due date
