Job DescriptionFor Kitchen Staff
- Responsible for preparation of ingredients for food dishes in designated outlet(s)
- Responsible for ordering and ensuring food and stock supplies are consistent in quality
- Responsible for the overall food/ingredient quality preparation and hygiene standards
- Responsible for storing and packing of food and ingredients in neat and orderly manner according to approved safety and hygiene standards
- Responsible for cost control and budgeting for food supplies to ensure competitiveness
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time, including assisting or being tasked to handle other kitchen sections’ duties
·Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
·Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
·Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
·Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
·Disposing of rubbish at the end of the day
·Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
- MUST be willing to learn and perform basic cooking duties as instructed
- Clean and/or insure the sanitary conditions and operating order of kitchen appliances, equipment, food storage areas, and the kitchen itself
- Assisting with unloading delivered food supplies and must be willing to carry goodsas and when needed
- Organizing and storing supplies correctly
