Kitchen Assistant

•Work : 6 days work / week (6 off days per month)

•Working Hours : 9am – 6pm (Break 1hour) OR 9am - 9pm (Break 2hour)

•Monthly Sales Commission

•Basic English communication is a must

Job Description

- Manage and train any kitchen staffs working with ou

- Helping head chef and sous chef to develop new dishes and menus

- Have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

- To have a degree in culinary arts and previous experience as assistant chef or chef

- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking

- Check food while cooking

- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

- Keep sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

- Check quality of the ingredients

- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

- Assist Head Chef or/and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations

- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit


- Daily housekeeping and maintenance of proper hygiene practices in all kitchen operations

- In Charge if the Inventory of the items under his station and provide a sufficient production for service

- Have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

- Ability to work in a team and delegate appropriately

- Good communication skills
