THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is excited about mastering the inner workings of a growing technology startup. This role will work closely with LEDR’s engineering teams in the US and France. As the company evolves, this person will have the opportunity to expand into supporting the company’s operations in various areas. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating a fast-paced and start-up environment, is eager to gain meaningful experience, and is passionate about making a big impact in this role.
Our products need to handle information at massive scale. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to LEDR’s needs with opportunities to switch projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems as we continue to push our unique technology forward.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will need to be comfortable building the next generation of intelligent systems for companies. Your initial focus is to help drive the delivery of client experiences and coordinate with LEDR teams in Singapore, US and France.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
·Write product or system development code.
·Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
·Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
·Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
·Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analysing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
·Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
·Ideally 4+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, data structures and/or algorithms.
·You have to be competent in either of the following 2 scripting languages: Ada, Rust (as this position is used to build a core Rust / Ada team)
