  • The supervision of the subcontractor’s personnel appointed to install the assigned works within the discipline to ensure that the works are completed on time and within Company's specification.

  • The direct management, supervision and direction of Self Performance acquired erection personnel and forces to install the assigned works within the discipline and ensure the works are completed on time and within specification.

  • Execute the discipline works erection strategy as defined by the Project Construction Manager and promulgated by the discipline Construction Manager (including planning aspects)

  • Execution of mandatory and conformity tests (include proper documentation and physical preparation up to final recording)

  • Enforce within the assigned scope of discipline works that subcontractors/workers are in compliance with the Company Environment Health and Safety (EHS) requirements at the site and reporting any continuing non-compliance.

  • Enforce within the assigned scope that subcontractors/workers or Self Performance erection forces are in compliance with the Company's Quality requirement and reporting any continuing non-compliance.

  • Inspection and Test Plans (ITPL) availability to Subcontractor, follow-up in due time and correct filling by all parties.

  • Checking correct and timeliness preparation of End of Erection Report by subcontractor (including random examination)

  • Physical checks listed in the Inspection and Test Plans

  • Close coordination with Quality Control department

  • Clear all allocated Punch-Items

  • Follow and duly close allocated Change Order and Non Conformance Report


  • Participate to Turn Over and Mechanical Completion walk down.

  • Verification, explanation and clarification (in verbal and written form) of erection documentation to erection forces (either subcontract or Self Performance).

  • Maintaining constant emphasis with the subcontractor’s erection personnel or Self Performance personnel of the schedule requirements for the discipline work.

  • Identifying materials and tools/equipment required to execute the works within the discipline.

  • Validate material request form issued by Subcontractors or Self Performance team.

  • Coordinate with Material Handling Manager for any discrepancies related to issued material.

  • Actively enforcing that all subordinate personnel, subcontractors and/or Self Performance erection forces maintain a state of good order and housekeeping in the work area and that all materials and tools/equipment are properly preserved and protected.

  • Keeping the physical records of erection progress within the scope of the discipline works.

  • Ensure that the physical quality records within the scope of the discipline works are properly filled, signed and kept.

  • Check correctness, compliance and correct use of any material or consumable supply by subcontractor.

  • Creating or directly supervising the creation of as-built (Record) documentation within the scope of the discipline works.

  • Ensuring discipline works are being executed in a manner that optimises the completion of the turn over packages for commissioning.

  • Record and communicate outstanding works during erection inspections and random walk down.

  • Taking necessary action to ensure accesses remain clear and no disruptions occur.

  • Communication directly with superior erection management to resolve and/or clarify any technical issues.

  • Constant checking to ensure all Quality requirements are being met and discrepancies/punch list items are promptly resolved.

  • Daily reporting in verbal and written form of discipline erection works status to the discipline Construction Manager.

  • Constantly monitor, noting and recording any situations that may give rise to cost variances and taking any necessary actions within the granted authority to resolve any such situations.

  • Constantly enforcing the E.H.S policy at site, reviewing method statements with erection forces, frequent safety discussions with erection forces and enforcing zero tolerance for unsafe acts or conditions.

  • Directly monitor all activities that could have effects on the environment.

  • Check to ensure all tools and plant are secured at the end of the workday.

  • Check correct housekeeping at the end of the workday.

  • Participate upon management request to provide technical advice to document deviations, non-conformances, extra works, claims, non-budgeted costs etc and coordination

  • Check timesheets of any subordinate personnel and all Subcontracts or Self Performance erection forces.

  • Preparation and submitted the detailed construction reports (including final End of Mission) to superior management.

  • Liaise with discipline Construction Manager prior to any extra works execution.
