Description


As a Electronics Technician at Ampotech, you will work with the product team to develop and test new internet of things (IoT) devices for use in smart homes and buildings. The scope of work includes system integration, installation, and testing in a lab environment and in the field. Specific tasks may include: working with manufacturers' staff to solve issues encountered during hardware production, preparing product documentation such as specifications/manuals, and testing/configuration of devices after receiving them and prior to dispatching to customers.




Desired Qualifications



  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field

  • Solid knowledge in embedded hardware, firmware development

  • Passion to work with hands-on tasks

  • Familiarity with Linux/OpenWRT and shell programming is a strong plus

  • Experience in designing and developing measurement devices is a plus

  • Familiarity with electrical distribution system (e.g. DB panel) is a plus
