Job description

We are looking for fun, energetic and competent individuals who are passionate about ladies fashion to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design ladies wear apparel and textiles that are trend-conscious, true to the brand’s identity and in line with the product range.
• Research current and upcoming seasonal trends, prints, colors, and incorporating these ideas into weekly collections in a commercial manner.
• Reviewing and developing all products, including measuring of samples, fitting prototypes and samples, and communicating changes to factories.
• Maintaining close working relationships with factories and suppliers to remain updated on the status of samples and orders.
• Review and analyze sales data in order to concisely and effectively present and utilize the information.
• Trend research and develop apparel collections for each season
• Perform design analysis.
• Perform fabric and notion sourcing.
• Frequent visits to outlets to understand needs of customers.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion or Design preferred
• Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Word and any other CAD programs.
• Possess a strong technical foundation in apparel construction and keen sensitivity to fashion trends
• A good understanding of Purpur brand
• Strong command of the Chinese language is an advantage
• Able to work independently to manage editorial digital content.
• Passionate about fashion.
• Creative flair and eye for details on fashion and graphic designs.
• Able to commit for at least a year.
• Able to travel.
• Fresh grads and Malaysians are welcomed.
