Full Job Description

- Check, handle and load outgoing deliveries into the cold truck

- Collect goods from the coolport

- Deliver orders (both home and wholesale) within a specific time frame

- Craft individual route plans to ensure timely delivery

- Obey traffic laws and follow the established delivery procedures

- Maintain cleanliness of cold truck

- Quarterly servicing of cold truck

- Assist with packing and service crew duties at the shop when not driving

- Must possess Class 3 driving license and be comfortable driving a cold truck. You will not be able to drive the vehicle home.

- Should be able to read and write basic English

- Should be able to utilize digital map applications (ie. Google Maps)

- Communicate in a friendly and polite manner with customers

- 6-day work week. Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business needs. (Mon-Sat) - 10am-6pm.

- Must have 1 year experience driving a cold truck

- Cold truck to be park at the shop (Not allowed to be driven home)

- 7 days of annual leave

- Off-in-lieu provided for work in the public holiday

3) Documentation

• Publication Review (ESM, SB, ADs, TR, IC,) including process specification (AMS, ASTM, BS)

• Worksheet amendments

• In-house specifications amendments

• Publication Review (ESM, SB, ADs, TR, IC,)

• Review Manual updates

• Prepare FMM for machine

• Prepare Aviation HIRA for processes

4) Operation Support

• Provide Tech support to Operation

• Raise TVR, CDR for engine repair

• Raise TM, EB, EN,

• Attend, resolve and smoothened operations flow

• Review, investigate and provide solutions to Open Reporting issues raised by operation.

5) Investigation

• Assist in Investigation of engine component issues

• Carry out root cause analysis, provide recommendations for corrective and preventive


6) Troubleshooting - Resolve repair processes issues

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering

• Have undergone at least 2 – 3 years of the on-the-job training

• 5 years working experience in Propulsion Engines and Components MRO Environment

• Regulatory NDT requirements

• FAA 45 /EASA 145 regulations

  • attend to customers' enquiries, concerns and issues on freight services;
  • process orders from customers and prepare shipping documents;
  • prepare billing to customers;
  • arrange custom clearance and declare permits;
  • arrange the trucking and collection of cargo, if the customer requires this service;
  • communicate and coordinate with customer service department such that any changes in vessel details or delay in arrival dates will be made known to the shipper via phone or email;
  • ensure all cargoes are sent in good condition and any damages shall be reverted to customers immediately;
  • verify vendor's invoice and close files;
  • pass down whole set of consol file (carrier arrival notice / payment voucher / agent bill / indemnity letter & tally sheet / invoices);
  • call carrier for exchange rate and arrival date;
  • fax arrival notice to individual customer with the container no. / seal no. / exchange rate / vessel arrival date / cargo details / house b/l;
  • complete all the arrival notice and delivery order within 2 days before vessel arrives, fax the hb/l cum arrival notice to customer as you finished;
  • if customer can't make payment and exchange d/o in time, need to send a reminder and follow by a phone call to check with consignee whether facing any problem and at the same time will feedback to overseas agent;
  • surrender master & carrier b/l in order to truck out the container within free demurrage period;
  • prepare agent invoice for any freight collect shipment and debit note (if any) ocean freight collect on behalf from agent at origin;
  • make payment to carrier before vessel arrives and surrender master b/l.

job requirement

  • nitec / diploma in logistics/supply chain management or a related field
  • at least 1 year of experience in the logistics industry or shipping management
  • good communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships (both internal and external)
  • good problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
  • well-organized with a keen eye for detail
  • able to work independently or in a team-based environment
  • proficient in microsoft office
  • working hours: mon to fri (9am till 6pm)
