job purpose: the art teacher will be primarily responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, using skills and techniques of artistic expression; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover and developing talents of the students. you should also supervise lessons to ensure that students interact in a supportive and respectful manner.

primary duties and responsibilities :

• plan and prepare a program of study to meet the needs and interests of the students
• establish and communicate clear learning objectives
• develop age-appropriate instructional strategies to achieve the art curriculum goals
• demonstrate and assist students to use different techniques and media to create artworks aligned to their artistic abilities
• inform students about cultural and historical influences on art

* those with singapore class 3 driving license will be an advantage
