MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Reports to Methods & Turnaround Manager.

  • Part of a team of 5 methods engineers.

  • Responsible for maintenance methods, as well as supporting other maintenance activities, for all control system (DCS/PLC) and telecommunication (except office IT) of the plant, in compliance with the HSEQ commitments and cyber security.

  • As part of the project engineering team, working on control system and telecommunication topics assigned to him/her.

  • Lead the discussions of communication between Arkema DCS/SIS and vendor control system.

  • Participate to control system loop tests and other site acceptance tests.


TECHNICAL SCOPE


· Methods and Reliability:



  • Responsible for technical data & methods documents in control system (DCS/PLC) and telecommunication in CMMS system (SAP/EDMS), including technical documents, operating procedures, task lists, standards… taking into account quality, time and cost, HSEQ, energy and regulations, as well as Arkema corporate guidelines

  • Define needs for spare parts in his/her area

  • Responsible for setting up and updating maintenance plans in SAP in his/her area, prepare preventive maintenance plan

  • Participate in reliability studies and reliability action plans in his/her area


· Studies:



  • Establish technical specifications, lead technical clarification, participate in assessment, selection for vendor / contractor

  • Make PR (Purchasing Request) in SAP for needed spare parts & services in his/her area

  • Support to design office for Capex studies

  • Ensure the respect of the regulation / corporate rules in his/her area


· Work Realization:



  • Manage maintenance contracts in DCS/PLC and telecommunication, ensure the respect of contract in terms of technical and financial part

  • Key contact person with 3rd party companies / consultants / inspectors in his/her area of expertise

  • Support on site work in his/her area (led by general maintenance team), make acceptance for received goods & services

  • Support to general maintenance work, troubleshooting control system on site

  • Responsible for the preparation of shutdown / turnaround in his/her area of expertise throughout the plant


· Turnaround:



  • Participate in preparation and execution of plant turnaround projects, by assisting the Turnaround manager on all topics related to control system


· Training:



  • Provide training to new comers on his/her activities.


HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS



  • Apply and enforce in the department the rules and procedures of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality in accordance with AIMS and ISO.

  • Ensures the issuing and action for incident reports in his/her area of activity.

  • Implement HSEQ and Energy corrective actions in his/her area of activity.

  • Lead or participate in HSEQ and Energy working groups.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor degree in Control System, with at least 5 years of experience in a petrochemical industrial site;

  • OR Polytechnic diploma, with 5~10 years of experience


KNOWLEDGE



  • Extensive knowledge in control system (DCS,PLC,SPLC) and industrial computing.

  • Good knowledge in cyber security.

  • Good knowledge of rules, standards, regulations and standards in the control system.

  • General safety instructions and general safety requirements for companies.

  • Knowledge on low voltage electricity / control, and field instrumentation.

  • CMMS (SAP or similar…)
