Hvala Singapore is looking for an experienced pastry chef to manage our in-house pastry and gelato production.
- Preparation of ingredients and handling of kitchen equipment
- Production of gelato, pastries, baked goods and related desserts as required
- Participation in ideation of new recipes and their development
- Receiving and checking of inventory, managing of inventory levels
- Forecasting and ordering, liaising with suppliers
- Managing production schedule and team schedule
- Maintaining the hygiene standard
- Working knowledge of gelato production, baking techniques and the pastry-making process
- Possessing either a certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking (or any relevant field), or, with proven experience in F&B industry.
- Able to work weekends & public holidays

- Proactive and reliable, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to withstand stress and work well under pressure
- Good time management and discipline to ensure optimal work performance
