In order to drive our next phase of growth in 5G and beyond, we are expanding our Product Development and Test Engineering group at our Test Center of Excellence (TCE) in Singapore. The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated SoC chip for Automotive application. We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QTIs products.


Job Function:


The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated SoC chip for Automotive application. We work with Design, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QTIs products.


Major Responsibilities:


Job responsibilities for the position include designing and debugging of test interface HW (loadboard), test SW (test program) development, HW/SW integration, characterization plan development, first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, multiple-source fab matching, device characterization, data analysis, product documentation/presentation, test limit (guardband) generation; driving failure analysis to completion, yield variance control. The job scope also requires the engineer to drive for short term and long term test time reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality for multiple projects in parallel.


Advantest 93K experience is preferred.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 1+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with handling of AEC Q100 qualification, production testing at hot/cold temperature and PAT (Part Average Testing) techniques.

  • Solid understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog circuit analysis techniques.

  • Working knowledge of SoC ATE testing.

  • Strong software skills (VB, Perl etc.) for writing and debugging test codes.

  • Hands on experience with Advantest 93K is a plus

  • Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process.

  • Knowledge and hands on experience with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals are a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Able to organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with teams.

  • Experience with presenting product and test data driven decisions to create effective and efficient product development.

  • Good ASIC device level characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus.

  • Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Source Meters, Battery Emulators, Spectrum analyzers, etc.

  • Able to work independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges.

  • Experience in Six Sigma Statistical process Control is preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering required.
